I believe this episode introduced his interest of Star Wars with the backpack and water bottle. Chris' backpack was shown again in the fifth season finale Starting Over when his father Eddie was packing it before they left to take Chris to school.

Since Christopher goes to a private school, Durand School, I figure he can't personalize or customize his school uniform. But he can add a little personality with his school supplies such as with his backpack and his water bottle. During his father's morning routine montage scene below, you can see other students wearing various colorful backpacks as well.

Chris' backpack is black and features the symbol of the Galactic Empire along with some ship interior buttons and his gray and black water bottle has images of clone troopers on it. Since I couldn't find the exact Star Wars backpack and water bottle that Christopher has, I found something that had a similar feel. The backpack I found is black and has the image of Darth Vader's helmet and buttons from his suit. The water bottle is black and features a lot of Star Wars illustrations or comic images and plus it glows in the dark.
I think this backpack would be pretty cool for any little Star Wars fan and the water bottle is perfect for fans big or little.
