Considering what both Hen and Chimney had gone through when they both started working at the 118, I see why they didn't follow Bobby's lead and hold a grudge against Buck. Bobby couldn't seem to let go of his animosity towards Buck and gave him less than favorable work assignments such as staying at the station and passing out Halloween candy or sending him home early from work. Chim and Hen knew what it was like to be treated harshly and unfairly and ignored because when they both separately started working at the 118 (see episodes Hen Begins season 2 episode 9 and Chimney Begins season 2 episode 12), they were not only ostracized by then Captain Vincent Gerrard but also by their co-workers who were following Captain Gerrard's lead. At least the situation between Bobby and Buck was resolved unlike with Hen and Chim's past situation with Captain Gerrard.
Something else about this episode that should be noted is the apology scene between Buck and Eddie. From the words chosen to the way the scene was directed, the way this scene was framed made it appear way more intimate than that of two best friends. Eddie always knows the right words to say to let Buck know that he understands him and what's he's going through. And with how easy Eddie forgave him, you can tell he wasn't necessarily holding a grudge like Bobby was but Eddie was upset due to the lawsuit making it impossible for him and Buck to talk to each other. Also, during the lawsuit hearing, Buck foolishly told his lawyer Chase Mackey personal stuff about his friends and co-workers not realizing the lawyer was going to use the information during the hearing. They even had a big fight in a grocery store regarding all this (see episode Rage season 3 episode 5), I'll post the clip if I can find it on YouTube.
I don't know why I was thinking about this episode but it is an interesting one.
