Eddie Diaz and Evan Buckley and Romantic Tropes

A fan made this really cool set of gifs for Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz and Evan "Buck" Buckley that's centered around classic and popular romantic tropes. This is what really annoys me about the writing for 9-1-1 because they will intentionally use romantic tropes for Buck and Eddie. And when viewers and fans notice or pick up on it and then hope that Buck and Eddie will go canon. Then the Showrunner (especially the current one) will try to make it seem as if it's all in the viewers and fans' minds for seeing what they purposely wrote. The Showrunner makes it seem as if fans wanting the writing to follow through and finally put Eddie and Buck together is ridiculous. Why? We're only picking up on what was written into the show.
