Teaser Trailer: Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

I'm still disappointed that the 2016 Ghostbusters movie didn't get a sequel. And when it was announced and released in theatres the movie was unfortunately dismissed by some fans simply because it was a women's led Ghostbusters movie. That was a fun and interesting movie that had a perfect blend of drama, comedy and supernatural. It was new while still honoring the original Ghostbusters. Too bad it ended up being treated as something divisive.

Compare that to how Ghostbusters: Afterlife was announced and released, those same fans who dismissed the 2016 movie treated this one better. I found it disappointing that when Afterlife was announced, the director and writer of the film Jason Reitman stated that this movie will "hand it back to the fans" as if the 2016 movie wasn't for Ghostbusters fans. To me Afterlife wasn't as good as the 2016 movie, it was boring and had a little too much emphasis on nostalgia. At least the trailer for the second movie Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire looks like it's going to have a better story than the first movie. And it even looks way more interesting.

So far a release date for Frozen Empire hasn't been stated but I'm sure it will be announced soon.
