Buddie Week: Day #2: Fashion Meets Fandom - Guys' Edition: Buck and Eddie's outfits for the basketball game

In the 9-1-1 episode Buck, Bothered and Bewildered (season 7 episode 4), Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz and Evan "Buck" Buckley were playing a fun yet intense game of basketball with some of their friends. This scene was supposed to be inspired by the beach volleyball scene in the movie Top Gun. Side note, I've never seen this movie or the sequel Top Gun: Maverick. But I've heard such good things about both movies maybe I'll watch them.

(9-1-1 season 7 episode 4: Buck, Bothered and Bewildered)

Anyway, in what should have stayed a fun game, turned vicious with Buck violently pushing Eddie. This left Eddie with a severely sprained ankle and no apology from Buck. Unfortunately with this show, most (if not all) apologies happen off screen, so odds are that's how Eddie received his. I can't believe Buck would intentionally hurt Eddie all because he supposedly had a crush on this new friend that Eddie had been hanging out with. To me it makes no narrative sense because throughout the episode Buck was trying to get Eddie's attention. I believe Buck has misplaced his feelings on this other guy instead of Eddie. Because even that other guy was surprised Buck wanted his attention instead of Eddie's. So, I hope at some point soon, Buck will realize whose attention he really wanted. I really hope Buck and Eddie will get a chance to go canon.

Okay, back to the point of this Buddie Week: Fashion Meets Fandom post, in this scene Buck and Eddie's outfits were typical sports/workout clothes. There's nothing really fashionable or stylish about these outfit, they're for comfort and function. Eddie wore a black tank top paired with gray lined shorts. While Buck wore a dark blue crew neck tank top paired with light or heather gray shorts. Both of their tank tops are a nod to the ones they wore in the gym scene back in the episode Under Pressure (season 2 episode 1).

To get the look, for Eddie I found a black tank top that I paired with dark gray lined shorts. He accessorized his outfit with dark blue and white Adidas Hoops 3.0 Mid Sneakers which I also included. However, read the note below the shoes. For Buck, I found a dark blue crew neck tank top that I paired with dark heather gray shorts. He accessorized his look with a black watch and white, black and red Nike LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD sneakers which I also included below. For both looks, I figure you can wear whatever gym shoes you like.
