Fashion Meets Comics - Costume Analysis: Lois Lane (Superman & Lois)

I don't know how I missed actress Elizabeth "Bitsie" Tulloch posting Superman & Lois behind the scene pictures on Instagram last month (well Instagram is pretty wonky with not always showing posts). Anyway, she posted some upcoming fourth (and final) season outfits for Lois Lane. I believe both outfits are for a flashback episode or scenes.

Edit to add: Happy 86th Anniversary, Lois Lane and Clark Kent/Superman. Thankfully, this time I didn't completely forget.

Work

In these behind the scenes pictures, Elizabeth is wearing a sleek and sophisticated black pencil skirt suit and a white ruffle and black tie-neck shirt. Which is paired with classic black pumps and small diamond earrings. I know Lois is a reporter but this look seems extra formal, maybe in this scene her and Clark Kent will be interviewing someone rather important. This look just feel very conservative but the pleated ruffles and ribbon tie do add a bit of fun to it.

Casual

In this second look, Elizabeth is wearing a really stylish brown leather (or faux leather) cropped biker or moto jacket. Which is worn over a white pointelle sweater with ruffle cuffs and medium or dark wash skinny jeans. And paired with brown leather (or faux) fleece lined booties, a blue Daily Planet baseball hat and hoop earrings.

I'm sure Clark is going to play in the baseball game, I do wonder who the Daily Planet is playing against. Anyway, looking at Lois' outfit, this doesn't seem like a look someone would wear to play in a  game. However, this is the perfect casual yet fashionable look to attend a game and cheer (or possibly coach) from the sidelines.
