What's On Tonight: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

What are you watching tonight?

I want to start by saying congratulations to The Cleaning Lady being renewed for a fourth seasons. I can't wait to see what they will do in the next season. Anyway, as for tonight, it's just my usual Tuesday line up: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie.

Something to note, tonight is both the season finale for Alert: Missing Persons Unit and the start of the two-part season finale for The Rookie. I'll probably watch Alert: Missing Persons Unit and tape The Rookie to watch later.

Entertainment New #53: Cancelled and Renewed Shows

- I really didn't want to report that ABC cancelled Not Dead Yet which is why I put off posting it. But yeah, it was such a fun and interesting show that now ends after two seasons which is so disappointing. I'm going to miss watching Not Dead Yet, I loved the concept of journalist Nell Serrano being visited (or haunted) by the ghosts of the people she was writing obituaries for. I really wish more shows got a chance to find more viewers before being cancelled.

Continuing with more cancelled shows, NBC has cancelled Extended Family after one season. I also really enjoyed watching this show. Also cancelled are: Constellation (Apple +), HouseBroken (FOX) and The Other Black Girl (Hulu). With so many shows continuing to be cancelled, it really makes you hesitant to start new shows.

- On to more positive TV news, FOX renewed Alert: Missing Persons Unit for a third season. I've really been enjoying this show and I'm very happy to see that it will continue with a new season. And NBC has renewed Lopez vs Lopez for a third season. This is such a good and funny show, I'm also really happy it was renewed as well. And finally, The Conners was renewed by ABC for a seventh and final season.

What's On Tonight: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

Happy Tuesday! What are you watching tonight?

I don't know why it didn't occur to me last week, that it was the season finale for Lopez vs Lopez. I already miss that zany little family, I really hope the show will be renewed for a third season. As for tonight it's a drama and procedurals: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie. So, I have my usual dilemma of figuring out what to watch and record.

I at least know one show I'm watching, Alert: Missing Persons Unit. The MPU is going to help a little boy who said his father was abducted by aliens. So, I guess they will have to figure out what truly happened so they can find him. So, yeah this is my line up for tonight.

8:00 PM EST

What's On Tonight: Lopez vs Lopez, The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

Happy Tuesday! What are you watching tonight?

First is the comedy Lopez vs Lopez, as much as I find Josué to be an interesting love interest. I feel like it's too soon for Rosie and him to be engaged. Although Rosie said that her and Josué have been dating for six months (secretly), however, we as the viewers have only seen him for three episodes up until this point. It just feels way too soon. Plus, he just seems too good to be true. And in tonight's first episode, it looks like George thinks Josué is hiding something and I'm interested to find out what it is. The second episode centers around the family having a therapy to sort of out some issues.

Now for the dramas and procedurals: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie are back tonight with new episodes. Since I'll watching Lopez vs Lopez, I'll tape The Cleaning Lady and Will Trent. The Cleaning Lady is always intense but it's such a good show and I just love how quirky and annoying Will Trent is. I can't wait to watch both episodes later. As for the last two: Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie, I need to figure out which one to tape or watch. I love watching both shows but I'll figure it out.

8:00 PM EST

Lopez vs Lopez season 2 episode 9: Lopez Vs Confessions                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 NBC

Description:

George thinks Rosie's fiancé might be hiding an unholy secret, so he goes undercover to get him to confess and expose the truth. With wedding bells in the air, Chance puts pressure on Mayan and Quinten about why they're not married.

What's On Tonight: Lopez vs Lopez, The Cleaning Lady and Alert: Missing Persons Unit

Happy Tuesday!

What are you watching tonight? There's only three shows that are new and since I want to watch something funny tonight, I'm going to watch Lopez vs Lopez. I'll tape The Cleaning Lady and later I'll watch Alert: Missing Persons Unit. I really love watching all three of these shows, which is why I hope they will all be renewed.

8:00 PM EST

Lopez vs Lopez season 2 episode 5: Lopez vs Let It Go                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 NBC

Description:

George joins a meditation group led by Carlos the Curandero, a spiritual healer whose mantra is "let it go,". However, Mayan worries her dad is letting go of too much, including their living room furniture. A burnout threatens to move next door.

What's On Tonight: Lopez vs Lopez, The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

Happy Tuesday!

Today has been a very busy day and I can't wait to sit back and relax and watch TV. My line up is definitely full now especially since I included Lopez vs Lopez. I watched the first season and the first episodes of the second season and now I'm all caught up for tonight's two back-to-back episodes. This show is so funny, I'm so glad I decided to watch it.

As usual, I'll figure out which shows to tape or watch. For 8:00 PM, I don't know I feel like comedy or drama but I'll figure it out. What are you watching tonight?

8:00 PM EST

Lopez vs Lopez season 2 episode 3: Lopez Vs Swap Meet                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 NBC

Description:

When Quinten misses out on a promotion at the Apple Store for being too soft, George and Oscar take him to the swap meet to teach him how to get hard. A leopard-print-loving Rosie finds out that Mayan thinks she's tacky.

What's On Tonight: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

It's Tuesday, what are you watching tonight?

I have my usual picks: The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie. Although it's not on my list, the second season of Lopez vs Lopez premieres tonight with two back-to-back episodes on NBC at 8:00 PM EST. The show's not on my list because I haven't started watching it yet. I will be watching the first season this week so by next week I'll be caught up.

As for tonight, I'll pick and choose which shows to either tape or watch. All four are really good shows so whatever I end up watching, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

8:00 PM EST

The Cleaning Lady season 3 episode 5: All Of Me                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 FOX

When Thony and Fiona are faced with a terrifying situation, they set out to fix it before it's too late. Jorge throws a wrench in Ramona's plan to find Arman, and Ramona starts to question his allegiance.

What's On Tonight: Night Court, The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Extended Family, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

What are you watching tonight? There are so many shows on tonight that yet again I'll be taping a few while watching the others. As much as I want to watch Will Trent (it feels like an early Halloween episode) and The Cleaning Lady (I'll be taping both), I have to watch Night Court and Extended Family. It's the season finale for both shows.

As for the last two shows: Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie, I just need to figure out which one to tape and watch later. Both seem interesting so which ever one I watch, I'm sure it will be a good episode. I decided to call this post What's On Tonight since I usually just have in the title Trailers for Tonight's episodes.

8:00 PM EST

Trailers for Tonight's Episodes of: Night Court, The Cleaning Lady, Extended Family, and Alert: Missing Persons Unit

It's Tuesday night, what are you watching?

I know I'm cutting it close posting this less than a half hour before my shows starts. As per usual, I'm going to watch Night Court and Extended Family and tape The Cleaning Lady to watch later. I'm also going to watch Alert: Missing Persons Unit. On tonight's episode of Night Court, I can't believe we're finally going to meet Donna "Gurgs" Gurganous' boyfriend, The Duke. And that Rhys Darby is playing the character. I'm still disappointed that Our Flag Means Death was cancelled that show should have gotten one more season to finish out the series.

Since Will Trent and The Rookie are still repeats, I didn't include them this time. However, both episodes are the second episode of the current second and sixth seasons. So, what are you watching tonight?

8:00 PM EST

Night Court season 2 episode 12: The Duke's a Hazard                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 NBC

Description:

When Gurgs' royal boyfriend pays a surprise visit, she questions their compatibility. Dan defends his family's honor after he discovers a feud that dates back centuries.

Trailers for Tonight's Episodes of: Night Court, The Cleaning Lady, Will Trent, Extended Family, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and The Rookie

Tonight is going to be a busy TV night for me with so many shows on. Thankfully The Rookie and Will Trent are repeats of the sixth and second season premieres respectively. However, I still included the information below for anyone who's interested in watching them. The repeats are good, since I don't have to figure out which shows to watch and which ones to tape and watch later.

As for the shows with new episodes, I posted the trailers and descriptions for: Night Court, The Cleaning Lady, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and Extended Family. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the trailers for Night Court and Extended family, so I only have the descriptions for those two shows. I'm really surprised NBC doesn't post the trailers on their YouTube account. Anyway, I can't wait to watch all the shows tonight from comedy to drama, it's going to be a good TV night.

Edit to add: I forgot that Night Court, Extended Family and The Cleaning Lady were on at the same time. So I did end up having to figure out which one to watch (Night Court and Extended Family) and which one to tape to watch later (The Cleaning Lady).

8:00 PM EST

Night Court season 2 episode 11: Wheelers of Fortune                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 NBC

Description:

Surprises are in store for Dan when the Wheelers return to court after more than 30 years. Abby seeks a psychic in hopes of ending an argument she had with her late father.

Video: First Look for Alert: Missing Persons Unit (season 2), Animal Control (season 2) and The Cleaning Lady (season 3)

FOX released First Look videos from some of their returning shows: Alert: Missing Persons Unit, Animal Control and The Cleaning Lady. The upcoming second season of Alert: Missing Persons Unit and the third season of The Cleaning Lady look like they're going to be intense. With complex mysteries and dynamic twists, yeah I will be tuning in. It looks like Alert is going to try to add a bit more humor to the show with one of the new characters. The Cleaning Lady returns Tuesday, March 5th at 8:00 PM EST and Alert: Missing Persons Unit returns Tuesday, March 5th at 9:00 PM EST.

And speaking of humor, the third season of Animal Control looks like it's going to another funny season. This show is full of weird misfits that somewhat know what they're doing. I do wonder if anything romantically will happen between Fred "Shred" Taylor and Emily Price this season? I can't wait to see the second season. Animal Control returns Wednesday, March 6th at 9:00 PM EST.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit    Returns: Tuesday, March 5th at 9:00 PM EST FOX

Alert: Missing Persons Unit season 2 poster

A New To Me show I just started watching is Alert: Missing Persons Unit. So far, I watched the first three episodes of the first season on Hulu and it's an interesting show that dives into the lives of the main characters Nikki Batista and her ex-husband Jason Grant. They're dealing with the fact that their son had gone missing. The series also focus on cases of missing people which the duo and their team attempt to solve.

This is the second missing persons procedural I've been watching. The other is the new show Found on NBC, which I still need to watch the last two episodes of the first season. Anyway, Alert is a show that I'm really enjoying. And I should be finished watching the first season before the new one airs. Below is the poster for the upcoming second season will premiere on Tuesday, March 5th at 9:00 PM EST on FOX.
