Since I'm taking a reading break for the day, I thought I would post something fun, a Super Best Friends Forever short.

I still don't understand why DC Comics didn't take advantage of how popular the SBFF shorts were and turn it into animated series.

Oh Solomon Grundy, how could you deny the Super Best Friends Forever a chance to fight crime. No worries the ladies kick butt regardless.

Super Best Friends Forever Short: Invisible Joy Ride

Why wasn't Super Best Friends Forever turned into an animated series as well as a comic book series?

Seriously, how could DC Comics not capitalize on this. I love these shorts, they are the best.

Tales of Metropolis: Jimmy Olsen Short

Poor Clark, he probably never thought Superman was considered such an annoyance for Jimmy.

Tales of Metropolis: Bizarro Short

Poor Lois, having to deal with the annoying Bizarro. Surprisingly, he actually does something good in this short or should I say bad, in his case.

Super Best Friends Forever Short: Grounded

I guess Martha Kent is the toughest one there. Why wasn't the Super Best Friends Forever turned into a series it's just the best thing ever.

Black Lightning Short: Clothes Make the Hero

Black Lightning (Jefferson Pierce) is a great character but since the New 52 he has only been seen in a few issues for DC Universe Presents (which was cancelled) and seen as a possible new recruit for the Justice League (Justice League issue #18). Meanwhile, Thunder (Anissa Pierce) and Lightning (Jennifer Pierce) have not been seen at all.

That's why I think this short would make a really fun and amazing animated series. It would give these characters a chance to get more exposure and get more fans.

Batman 75th Anniversary: Darwyn Cooke's Batman Beyond short

I still love watching Batman Beyond and I absolutely love this short. This is another amazing 75th Anniversary Batman short.

Batman 75th Anniversary: Bruce Timm's Short

I just love these Batman shorts that have been released for the Batman 75th Anniversary. Oh, I think this is really amazing.

Superman 75th Anniversary Animated Short - Video

This was created by Zack Snyder and Bruce Timm and produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

Okay, that was really cool. But it would have been nice if Lois Lane was included more in it, it's her 75th Anniversary as well. It just feels like another DC Comics attempt to diminish Lois Lane's importance. It's funny (and not in a good way) that besides Clark, Lois was in the first issue of Action Comics and yet she's treated as if she's a newly created character.

Again, I like the video, I just wish that Lois wasn't continued to be pushed to the sidelined. It's rumored that Lois will be getting her own comic series in 2014 but I'll believe it when I see it.

DC Nation's Tales of Metropolis: Lois Lane and Batman - Video

I didn't mean for this to turn into a video day but I'm nearly finished with my book and thought I would post this Lois Lane short.

Lois Lane is awesome, right? And, there is no way that's not Kevin Conroy voicing Batman. I absolutely love this.

DC Nation's Wonder Woman short part 1 - Video

When I first saw this at the end of an episode "Beware the Batman", I thought it was a fun and interesting take on Wonder Woman and not to mention they included Steve Trevor. Too bad DC Comics can't seem to do this with their comic books.
