Trailer for tonight's episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star: This Is Not a Drill

I really enjoyed last week's episode Human Resources and I'm hoping that Marjan Marwani's journey won't keep her away from the 126 for long and that she will be able to get her job back. But I like that Marjan stood by her principles and wouldn't let that couple who were obviously scamming use her and her followers to get money. I also enjoyed seeing Grace Ryder who as a 9-1-1 dispatcher being on the other side of an emergency when she helped a little boy's mother. I like that Grace was nervous and out of her element and calling her friend Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega for help. Grace trusted her instincts that something was wrong and she ended up saving someone's life.

As for tonight's episode, This Is Not a Drill, despite what Owen Strand said in the trailer, I do hope this is the end of this FBI/biker gang/terrorist storyline. What started out as an interesting plot has really started to drag and slow the pacing of the story down. I really hope this ends with tonight's episode and if it doesn't then it will be wrapped up by the 7th episode.

Trailer for tonight's episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star: Human Resources

This probably the latest I've ever posted for 9-1-1 Tuesday but I can't wait to see tonight's episode. Since I don't have enough time to write out my thoughts for last week's episode Abandoned (which was a really good episode) I'll post something for it another time. As for tonight's episode, I wonder if Marjan Marwani will really quit? And if she does, I wonder how many episodes will there be before she returns? Because I can't see her quiting for good. And for Grace Ryder, I'm sure she will help the little boy how keeps calling 9-1-1 but I do wonder what his emergency will be.

I'll make sure to post early for next Tuesday.

Characters Reading: Grace Ryder (9-1-1: Lone Star)

In the 9-1-1: Lone Star third season episode Riddle of the Sphynx, Grace Ryder was babysitting Tommy Vega's twin daughters because Tommy was going on her first date almost a year after the death of her husband. The date wasn't the best but at least Tommy took a chance. I don't think anyone could replace her late husband Charles but I'm sure at some point the writers will introduce someone that I hope will love Tommy and her twin daughters.

As for Grace, she was very encouraging and supportive which also included her babysitting. And when Tommy came home from her date, Grace was reading The Highly Sensitive Child: Helping Our Children Thrive When the World Overwhelms Them by Elaine N. Aron Ph.D. I wonder if this is Grace's book that she brought with her to read or one of Tommy's books that she found on a bookshelf? Grace is a new mother, I could see her buying this self-help book since her daughter is a baby and according to the book's description it provide advice on "how to soothe highly sensitive infants". The book could also be Tommy's because her daughters are pre-teens and the information in the book could be helpful for kids their age as well.

What do you think of the Judd, Grace and Wyatt Storyline on 9-1-1: Lone Star?

Okay 9-1-1: Lone Star fans, I was wondering what do you think about the Wyatt and Judd and Grace storyline? I'm happy Judd and Grace Ryder are getting more screen time and I think Judd's newly discovered son Wyatt is such a kind and sweet teen but I can't help wondering if Judd really is his father? There was a vague mention of Judd's brother when Judd was talking to Tommy Vega about how he met Wyatt's mother Marlene. From Judd's story, he said him and his brother had went to a bar and that's how he met Marlene, they were all drinking and who's to say that Judd's brother and Marlene didn't also have a moment as well.

Wyatt said he found his connected to Judd from a genealogy map but siblings also share DNA which is why Judd and Wyatt should still do a DNA test to be completely sure Judd is his father and not his brother being the father. I just found it interesting that Judd even mentioned his brother and it just made me think why mention him if the writers are not going to bring it up again at a later point.

I love the growing connection between Grace, Judd and Wyatt which is why I think it needs to be truly determined if Wyatt is Judd's son because this family bond that's building between them is something that I'm really enjoying. I really am interested in seeing where this story will go.
