Happy Cinco de Mayo and Revenge of the 5th!

If you're not sure why Cinco de Mayo is celebrated, you can search online and find information and don't forget there are books you can read to gather more information. Aside from that, you can look at this video (which I'm reposting from last year), it gives a brief overview of the holiday.

As for the second holiday, Revenge of the 5th, it's a continuation from yesterday's Star Wars holiday, May the 4th. I always found Emperor Palpatine issuing Order 66 such a sad and horrible thing. With Anakin Skywalker becoming Palpatine's new apprentice Darth Vader and the clone army following orders they killed so many Jedi. And with Order 66 in place, the rest of the Jedi go into hiding leaving Palpatine fully to take over.

Happy Cinco de Mayo and Revenge of the 5th!

Cinco de Mayo is more than just a day to party and contrary to popular belief this holiday is not in celebration of Mexico's Independence Day. It’s in honor of Mexico's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. And if you would like to know more, I posted a video below that explains more about the holiday. So as you're celebrating don't forget the meaning of this holiday.

And since it's also Revenge of the 5th. The other Star Wars Holiday that focuses on the Sith, I guess there's no good (the Jedi) without the evil (the Sith). I included the video below of Emeperor Palpatine issuing Order 66 in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and leading the order is his new apprentince Darth Vader. This entire scene was so sad and angering because the Jedi have fought with the Clone Army for years but they apparantely never suspected that Emperor Palpatine was the one who was behind and controled everything.

Happy Cinco de Mayo and Revenge of the 5th!

Happy Revenge of the 5th! Do you have a favorite Sith?

I always wonder why the Sith are so focused on gaining power and using the Force in the worst possible ways instead of helping others. But I guess that's why they're the Sith and not the heroes. Do you have a favorite Sith? Mine is Asajj Ventress. Although she technically wasn't a Sith, she was at one point an apprentice to Count Dooku but that eventually didn't work out.

However, she's still one of the best non-official Sith's there was. While working for the Dark Side, she was so evil and ruthless that it's a wonder she didn't end up killing more Jedi with each battle she was in. Surpringly, there was more to her than being a Sith disciple because believe it or not she ended up becoming a hero in the end.

Revenge of the 5th: The Ultimate Fight: Anakin Skywalker vs Obi-Wan Kenobi

It's Revenge of the 5th and I wanted to post something about one of my favorite movies, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. This movie shows you the sorrow and drama of the unfortunate take over of Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, the demise of the Jedi and continued downward spiral of Anakin Skywalker. And you see one of the best fights in the entire Star Wars movie series, Obi-Wan Kenobi versus Anakin on Mustafar. I'll give honorable mention to Palpatine's two separate fights between Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Yoda as well as Obi-Wan's fight against General Grievous. All three fights were pretty awesome.

Now back to Anakin and Obi-Wan's fight, this was truly spectacular. Anakin was using his anger to fuel his fight against Obi-Wan. However, his former Jedi Master had years of training on his side and not to mention Anakin let his overconfidence fool him into thinking he could win. And we all see how that turned out for him. Despite Obi-Wan's best efforts which left his former Padawan severely injured and near death, Anakin, however, was not to be defeated that day. He would soon take on a new horrifying appearance as Darth Vader and would reign terror throughout the galaxy.

Things may have gone exceptionally wrong for the Jedi and galaxy in this movie but at the end you see there is still hope that one day the Empire and Sith will be stopped.
