Fashion Meets Fandom: Bree Davenport (Lab Rats: Elite Force)

I love the fall, the crisp and chilly weather go perfectly with cozy knits and just because we're trying to stay warm doesn't mean we can't look good. Which is why I was inspired to recreate Bree Davenport's outfit from the Lab Rats: Elite Force Halloween episode.

Bree's style went from a fun and colorful teen wardrobe in the Lab Rats TV series to a more stylish and sophisticated look in the spin-off Lab Rats: Elite Force. During the first and second seasons of Lab Rats, she wore a lot of brightly colorful clothes paired with equally brightly colorful combat boots. By the third and fourth seasons, her style was starting to change into something more stylish with cute sweaters, flowy tops, skinny jeans and cool ankle boots.

Fashion: Kelli Berglund

Actress Kelli Berglund attended the Television Academy Honors Emmy Nominated Performers Event on Friday (Sept. 20th). I love her look it's very Old Hollywood.

Kelli wore this beautiful beaded and floral lavender Zara Umrigar dress which was paired with equally beautiful Casadei 'Blade V Celebrity' glittery silver strappy heels. I love a classic look especially if there's an updated take on it. This is like bohemian meets vintage fashion and I like that she doesn't look like she's cosplaying Old Hollywood but perhaps took inspiration from it instead.

Fashion Meets Fandom: Bree Davenport's Mission Suit (Lab Rats)

Do you guys remember the Lab Rats TV series? One of the things that I loved about the series was that each of the bionic superhero siblings Adam, Bree and Chase Davenport and their step brother Leo Dooley had mission suits that were pretty cool. Each of their suits were in a combination of gray, black and red and out of the four, I thought Bree's catsuit was the most suited to her powers of super speed. She's the fastest person on Earth and I believe there is only one person who maybe faster and that's Skylar Storm, an alien superhero from the planet Caldera.

Bree's mission suit is sleek and form-fitting and designed to cut down on wind resistance while running. Unlike her three brothers, Bree's suit doesn't have any noticeable body armor, perhaps it's incorporated into the material.

The only thing I didn't like about her suit was the heeled boots, although stylish they were so impractical even if they were probably reinforced. I never understood why some female superheroes' suits include heeled boots, it feels so outdated.
