Trailer: Spider-Man: No Way Home

Although, the MCU Spider-Man is not my favorite version of the character, I am actually excited to see Spider-Man: No Way Home. And that's mainly because the story seems more interesting than first two movies. I also like that this movie will feature so many of the other characters from the other Spider-Man movies. I can't wait to see this movie, it'll be in theatres on Friday, December 17th.

With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life as Peter Parker from the high stakes of being a superhero. Fandom Friday: Random Fandom Thoughts #10

Happy Friday evening, what are your fandom thoughts for today?


- When 9-1-1: Lone Star returns for the third season, I hope the characters Firefighters Marjan Marwani, Paul Strickland, Mateo Chavez and Police Officer Carlos Reyes will get more scenes. Honorable mentions goes to characters Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, 9-1-1 dispatcher Grace Ryder and her husband Firefighter Judd Ryder for receiving slightly more screen time compared to the four mentioned above. As much as I really like Firefighter Captain Owen Strand and his son Paramedic T.K. Strand, they both get a lot of screen time and I just hope that the other characters will receive more in the new season.

Teaser Trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home

As good as Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer looks, I'm starting to wish Disney/Marvel/Sony would start making non-canon or non-connecting movies and TV series so they can move on from this timeline. Then the timeline won't continue to get jumbled up or have to include an explanation as to why certain characters didn't help or why certain events happened or didn't happen. I think it would be interesting if they started doing more standalone movies.

However, I am interested to see how Peter and Doctor Strange will fix this mess they've gotten the world into. Spider-Man: No Way Home will be in theatre Friday, December 17th (as of now). How excited are you to see this movie?

Zendaya

I haven't seen Spider-Man: Far From Home yet and so far I've been able to avoid spoilers. I do hope Zendaya's character Michelle Jones will get a bigger role in the movie. I like Michelle, she's a weird and emo kind of character who's not trying to impress anyone which I think is awesome.

Characters Reading: Michelle Jones (Spider-Man: Homecoming)

It's not hard to spot Michelle Jones, she's the only one reading a book during gym class. And the book she's reading is Of Human Bondage by W. Somerset Maughm. I guess to make Michelle stand out, she was shown either reading, drawing, saying something quirky or trying her best not to be a part of the crowd. She wasn't anti-social but she didn't seem too motivated to hang out with others. She's an interesting character but she's also a little weird which is something you don't see too often for female characters.

Even though I enjoyed watching Spider-Man: Homecoming I still feel like it took a lot inspiration from Miles Morales' Spider-Man stories. It just didn't feel like a Peter Parker story instead it felt like Marvel Studios went of out their way to make an Ultimate Spider-Man movie but without Miles Morales as Spider-Man.
