I still can't get over how terrible this gift was, a cardboard display and a hook in a ring box. Especially since she gave him a gift he so obviously enjoyed. So, it's no wonder why Irma left and most likely broke up with him, this was the last episode she appeared in.

Christmas Countdown Day #3: Mr. Bean giving his girlfriend a terrible gift
A holiday episode that always makes me laugh is the Mr. Bean episode Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean (season 1 episode 7). Throughout the entire episode Mr. Bean goes from one ridiculous situation to the next. Which includes the scene where he gives his girlfriend Irma an absolutely terrible gift. Earlier in the episode, they were standing in front of a jewelry store when she pointed at the window display. The display was for engagement rings and for some reason, he thought she was pointing at the cardboard advertisement and that's what he got her. And to make it even worse, he decided to put a hook in a ring box. When he gave her that ring box, she was so happy that is until she opened it and took out a hook.

Happy New Year's Eve! (+ a Geeky TV/Movie List)
It's New Year's Eve and despite a slightly grumpy start to the day, I'm really looking forward to the new year. I hope we will all have a wonderful and amazing 2020. This is my first time posting a New Year's Eve geeky list and I wanted to include as many New Year's Eve shows and movies that I could think of. I know there are more but these were the only ones I could think of for now which means I'll have more to post for next year.
However, there's one movie on my list, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi that's not even remotely connected to NYE. But it has the feeling of "out with the old and in with the new" with the Rebels destroying the Empire and bring about the beginning of something new. Not to mention the galaxy wide celebration that happened afterwards. If that's not the spirit of New Year's Eve then I don't know what is.
As 2019 comes to an end, I can't thank all of you enough who have visited my blog. I hope to bring you even more book reviews and geeky topics for 2020. With that said, I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year's Eve, can't wait to see what's in store for us next year. Take care everyone and have fun celebrating.
Absolutely Fabulous
Season 3 episode 2: Happy New Year
Description:
Edina finds her New Year's Eve plans ruined by the sudden arrival of Patsy's acid-tongued sister, Jackie.

Characters Reading: Mr. Bean
Mr. Bean is a show that never fails to make me laugh. It follows the annoying but surprisingly lovable Mr. Bean who somehow always finds himself in some sort of trouble that he's usually the cause of. If you've never watched this show, I highly recommend it.
In the episode, Mr. Bean Rides Again, he was trying to relax by reading a book while traveling on a train. Unfortunately, for Mr. Bean, he was having a difficult time trying to read because the other passenger, who was also reading, was constantly laughing out loud. That is so annoying but I totally get it, I've read some really funny books. However, I try not to be rude when I'm reading in public, I don't want to be that person annoying everyone like this guy is to Mr. Bean.

I'm Watching "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Merry Christmas Mr. Bean"

I can't believe How The Grinch Stole Christmas cartoon just went off. This was probably the umpteenth time I've seen it. But how could I not, it's a classic and I couldn't possibly miss it. I could watch the cartoon a million times over but I did not like the live action movie it wasn't that fun to watch.
And now Merry Christmas Mr. Bean is on. This is another classic and one of my favorites as well. Mr. Bean is so annoying but watching his ridiculous antics never fails to make me laugh. And the Christmas special is absolutely hilarious. I've seen this so many times but I still can't get over the horrible gift he got his girlfriend. For one thing, it's simply amazing that he even had a girlfriend to begin with. Second, the gift he gave her was so bad and do you want to know what it was? To begin with, she unwrapped the first gift which turned out to be a cardboard picture but the kicker is he then proceeded to give her a second gift, a ring box. Don't start thinking highly of him because there was no ring in the box. Instead it was a hook, yes a hook, in a ring box. The hook was so she could hang up the cardboard picture. Now tell me that's not a terrible gift.
You add that up to all the other terrible things he does in this special and you will be laughing non-stop. I love watching all these holiday TV shows and movies.
