Toy Corner: Barbie 50th Anniversary Star Trek Dolls

It's hard to image that Star Trek only stayed on for three seasons yet ended up becoming this iconic series. To celebrate the 50th annivesary of the TV series, Barbie has created the 50th Anniversary Star Trek dolls: Captain James T. Kirk, Lieutenant Nyota Uhura and Mr. Spock. The dolls are currently available for pre-order from The Barbie Collection for $34.95 each. These are pretty cool, I think they did an amazing job with the likeness of the actors. I wonder if anymore of the characters will be created?

I would love to get all three but at least I know I will be getting Lieutenant Uhura. My mother recently asked me what I would like for my birthday and of course I told her. It doesn't matter that this will show up sometime after my birthday, I'm just happy that I'll have one. I love that my family totally gets me.
