Toy Corner: Funko Jem and the Holograms

As a Jem and the Holograms fan, I don't know how I missed that there were Funkos for some of the characters. Well, I also missed the ones that were released a few years back which I also didn't know about. Anyway, I absolutely love these little Funkos of Jem, Kimber Benton, Aja Leith, Shana Elmsford and Synergy. What I love about Jem and the Holograms, they're not just bandmates but sisters. Which is why I love the episode Out of the Past (season 2 episode 25) which provided a lot of backstory on the Benton family, how Shana and Aja were added to the family and how Synergy was created. It was a good episode.

Anyway, aside from these five Jem and Holograms Funkos available, I do wish Jem's alter ego Jerrica Benton along with characters Rio Pacheco, Carmen "Raya" Alonso and The Misfits (along with Eric Raymond) also had figurines. Maybe more will be made later. Whether that happens or not, I would like to get these five, they're just so cute and fashionable.

Toy Corner: Funko Lois Lane

I may have missed the chance to get the Funko Smallville Lois Lane Figure but I'm going to make sure I get this Superman: The Movie (1978) Lois Lane figure. It's from the scene when Lois first officially interviewed Superman on the balcony of her apartment.

I still find it interesting that this Lois who was played by the late Margot Kidder is still one of the most beloved versions of the character. And she's definitely included on my list of favorite Lois Lanes. She's feisty, loud, independent, sarcastic and has a love of journalism.

I can't remember the last time I bought a Funko but I really want to get this one.

Wish List Wednesday: May 31st

Happy Wednesday!

I can't believe it's the last day of the month. So for today's Wish List Wednesday, I only have two things on my list. One I can easily get while the second is truly a wish list item that's for sure.

Toy Corner: Mighty Morphin Ninja Yellow Ranger Action Figure

As soon as I saw this Power Rangers action figure I had to post it. Not only is pretty cool but the action figure is Aisha Campbell's Yellow Power Ranger. I'm so happy that so many different Rangers have been getting more merchandise because Adam Park (Black Ranger), Rocco "Rocky" DeSantos (Red Ranger) and Katherine "Kat" Hillard (Pink Ranger) also have action figures too.

This Yellow Ranger action figure isn't available to buy just yet, I believe it might be released in November, but don't quote me on it. However, it is available for pre-order which I think I might do. I don't want it to sell out before I get a chance to get one.

Toy Corner: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Pink Ranger action figure

Power Rangers have been on my mind lately, I think it's such an underrated franchise. I really wish there was a streaming service that had all of the Power Rangers series because I would love to watch some of the older episodes. Anyway, I saw this mini Pink Ranger action figure and thought it would be cool to add to my collection.

I've seen other amazing Power Rangers collectibles which I'll post more later but as now what do you think of this mini figure? Is it something you'd add to your collection?

Toy Corner: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Six Figure Collectible Set

As a Power Rangers fan, I would love to have this Mighty Morphin Power Rangers collection. This is like the ultimate collection because it includes all the original Power Rangers in one set. This is so cool. The only thing that's not so cool is the $549 price tag. But if you only want to get your favorite ranger (or two), you can buy (or pre-order) them individually for $99 each.

Toy Corner: The Child Plush

In June, I posted about the The Child Plush toy and now I finally got one. This ugly little thing is so cute and once I take it out of the packaging, I'll sit it on the shelf in my reading nook. It can sit with some of my books or maybe I'll make a Star Wars shelf for it. Either way it's a cute little addition to my collection.

Toy Corner: Barbie Signature Wonder Woman 1984 Set: Steve Trevor and Diana Prince

Although, the Wonder Woman 1984 movie is delayed until October 2nd, the merchandise is not. This collector's 2-doll set is really cool, it included Steve Trevor and Diana Prince wearing these stylish 80s outfits that are featured in the upcoming movie.

I love this dress Diana is wearing, it's so beautiful and I'm sure it's going to be even more impressive on screen. Meanwhile, Steve definitely has the typical 80s look which unfortunately includes the hideous fanny pack. I've never understood the appeal of it, but the fanny pack was an 80s fashion staple even if it was ugly.

Anyway, this set is priced at $80 and is available for pre-order. It's scheduled to be released on July 22nd, so my fellow collectors, be sure pick this up and add it to your collection. I plan on getting one too.

Toy Corner: The Child Plush

I've seen a lot of merchandise for The Child and some of it's really good like this plush toy. This is so adorable and affordable especially compared to the ones I've seen made by Hot Toys and Sideshow now those are really expensive.

So, if you don't have hundreds of dollars to spare for The Child this plush just might be the one your looking for. It will certainly look cute sitting on the shelf or even in the chair in your reading nook. Is this cute little thing something you would want to add to your Star Wars collection?

Toy Corner: Professor McGonagall Statue

I like Professor Minerva McGonagall, however, I think her stern appearance makes her seem like she wouldn't be fun to be around. She's one of those teachers who's tough but you would definitely learn a lot from. She's fair (unlike Professor Snape) because you would get the grades you've earned.

This is a pretty cool statue that would look great on a shelf. It does makes me wish there was more official Professor McGonagall merchandise. I don't know why there isn't more

Toy Corner: Golden Armor Wonder Woman Action Figure

Is this a collector's Must Have? I certainly think so. This golden armored Wonder Woman action figure from the Wonder Woman 1984 movie is so awesome. I love that the wings are detachable because it's great for some collectors who may have limited shelf space (such as myself).

I can't wait to see the new Wonder Woman movie but until then I have to get this action figure. Who's adding this to their collectables list?

DC Multiverse Wonder Woman Gold Armor: Wonder Woman 1984                  Retail Price: $19.99

Includes:

- detachable wings
- a flying stand
- a bas
- collectible art card with Wonder Woman 1984 artwork

Toy Corner: Star Wars Barbie Dolls: C-3PO, Chewbacca, Rey and Stormtrooper

Barbie is adding four new dolls to its Star Wars collection. This second collection includes dolls inspired by C-3PO, Chewbacca, Rey and a Stormtrooper. Last year, Barbie released dolls inspired by Darth Vader, Princess Leia and R2-D2 Dolls, I guess the first collection was so popular the company decided to create more.

These dolls which are really cool are mainly for collecting or displaying only especially for the price. C-3PO, Rey and Stormtrooper are $100 each while Chewbacca is $150. I'm not sure why Chewbacca is $50 more perhaps it all the faux-fur featured throughout the costume. The only one you can buy right now is the Stormtrooper, however, you can pre-order the other three dolls.

Toy Corner: Thor Action Figure

Who doesn't love a cool action figure? There are just some collectibles that you see and immediately want. For me that's this Infinity War Thor action figure, I totally want it. It's just so cool. I've said many times before how much I love a lot of details and this looks amazing. Just look at that suit, it's a perfect replica of the one in the movie.

This is not in my budget right now but I so want it. Maybe I'll get the chance to get one later because this is just too awesome not to have.

Plush LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca

Chewbacca was so underappreciated in the Star Wars sequel trilogy but the Solo movie did a great job of showing how cool he is.

Anyway, I know Baby Yoda (or The Child) is the cutest thing at the moment but just look at this LEGO Chewbacca stuff animal. Isn't he the cutest? I don't usually buy a lot stuff or plush items but I could see buying this. I have my little collectibles shelf that I would place him on. He is just so cute.

Toy Corner: Mego Batman

I would love to know why a majority of the Mego action figures look so cheap and horribly crafted. However there have been a few such as this Batman that look really good. I love the costume, the yellow belt and background on the symbol really standout. I also love the shiny boots, this is a really cool find.

Toy Corner: Wonder Woman Action Figure

It's crazy how cool this Justice League Wonder Woman action figure is. As a collector, I can really appreciation all the attention to detail that's shown in this figure which are so amazing. To me, I love when you find that I-gotta-have-it thing especially something as awesome as this. Ugh, I so want this but for now it's going on my Collector's Wishlist.

Toy Corner: Ghostbusters Statues

I'm a big Ghostbusters fan and I would be one happy collector if I had these statues of Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddmore and Peter Venkman. They're amazing, just look at the quality and craftsmanship that went into created them. I am disappointed that Janine Melnitz doesn't have a statue. How could you leave out Janine, she's part of the team too?

As much as I would love to get these statues, they're $400 each which is pretty steep but yeah this would be an awesome find.

Is there a collectible you wish you could buy but it cost too much? Yeah, let me know because I'll totally sympathize with you.

Toy Corner: Harley Quinn Action Figure (The New Batman adventures)

When I go to the comic book store, if I have enough time, I like to look around the collectibles section to see what I can find. I don't know if you remember but back in May, I mentioned that I found 1998 The New Batman Adventures Harley Quinn action figure. As soon as I saw it, I had to get this action figure. I love that her pet hyenas Bud and Lou were included.

This was such a great find, I only paid around $30 (thanks to my membership discount) for it which is awesome for something that's pretty much mint condition. I just think this is really cool, Harley Quinn in her original costume with her two dangerous yet adorable to her pets.

Anyone else found any cool yet affordable collectibles, I would love to know what they are?

Toy Corner: Funko The Child (Star Wars: Mandalorian)

Even though, I haven't watched the Star Wars: Mandalorian TV series on Disney+ yet (I'm going to make it my goal this week to start watching it), I have seen plenty of pictures and video of The Child.

I guess Disney wasn't expecting the fan frenzy over The Child which is why there aren't any toys available until next year. Even as the company claimed, they wanted to keep The Child a secret until the show premiered, they should at least had merchandise prepared to hit shelves sometime after the premiere.

There are quite a few toys and figures that will be available next year such as this Funko which you can pre-order. Are you planning on getting this or other toys of The Child? I wouldn't mind getting this Funko but so far I haven't pre-ordered it yet.

Toy Corner: Lois Lane Bombshell Statue

Exciting News!

The Lois Lane Bombshells statue is on sale. I'm a big fan of the intrepid reporter who is always working hard uncovering the truth and fighting corruption through her words. This statue perfectly represent Lois and I have been wanting to get this since it was released back in 2015. I think I'm going to have buy an Christmas present for myself because I really have to get this.
