What's On Tonight (Wednesday 3/5): Wild Cards, Abbott Elementary, Chicago Fire and Good Cop/Bad Cop

So for tonight's shows, there's murder, a banned book, an accident and sports fanatics. For Abbott Elementary's banned book storyline, it will be interesting to see how this will be resolved. Any of you watching Good Cop/Bad Cop, this is just a fun and weird show with interesting mysteries.

What's On Tonight (Wednesday 2/26): Wild Cards, Abbott Elementary, Chicago Fire and Good Cop/Bad Cop

It looks like Wild Cards is adapting Rear Window for tonight's episode with Max seeing something in an apartment building across the street. I wonder if anyone is going to believe her. As for the other shows, I wonder why Mr. Johnson and Jacob are creating a search party for on Abbott Elementary.

On Chicago Fire, I wonder what the lie is that Violet caught Carver in? I wonder if the writers are going to put them back together this season or is there break up permanent? And finally with Good Cop/Bad Cop, the detectives are trying to solve an interesting murder involving a deadly mushroom.

What's On Tonight (Wednesday 2/12): Wild Cards and Abbott Elementary

I'm going to either watch or tape: Wild Cards or Abbott Elementary. As for Wild Cards, I'm so happy I had the show set to record because I had no idea the second season had premiered last Wednesday until I saw it in the DVR. This is such a fun detective series and it looks like Max and Ellis are going to have to solve a mystery centering around a ranch.

As for Abbott Elementary, it's a Valentine's Day episode and I can't wait to see how Janine and Gregory are going to celebrate the holiday. And according to the description, it looks like the teachers will have to attend the annual school district budget meeting. I wonder how that's going to turn out.

Fandom Friday: Fandom Random Thoughts #39: Buck and Eddie and Wild Cards

Happy Fandom Friday! Yeah, I know, I haven't posted a Fandom Friday since last year. Anyway, here are some of my random fandom thoughts:

- This has been on my mind today, I really don't want to see Natalia and Marisol, the boring and bland love interests for Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz and Evan "Buck" Buckley in the upcoming 7th season of 9-1-1. It's going to be a chore watching those scenes because there is absolutely no chemistry between Buck and Natalia and Eddie and Marisol. I don't understand why the Showrunner and writers would choose these lackluster characters as Buck and Eddie's love interests? When instead they could have created a groundbreaking romance between Buck and Eddie, two 30-something best friends who found love with each other.

(9-1-1 season 6 episode 13: Mixed Feelings)

- I watched the new CW TV series Wild Cards, and I really liked the first episode The Infinity Thief. The episode was funny and clever and the main characters have amazing chemistry. Now, I can't wait to watch the second episode. The show follows Max Mitchell who is a total con artist. And after she was arrested, she ended up working with Police Detective Cole Ellis, who really didn't want to work with her, to solve a very interesting mystery. And after solving that mystery, Max and Cole will be working together solving ever more mysteries.

I'm already loving this show and I want the writers to dig deeper into Max's story because there is definitely something going on. This show reminds me of White Collar, which is another one of my favorite shows. White Collar centered around a con artist working with the FBI to solve mysteries. Yeah, there's a lot of similarities and Wild Cards so far is just as fun and charming. I feel like this is going to be one of those underrated shows but I hope viewers will tune in to watch it. Wild Cards airs Wednesday at 8:00 PM EST on The CW.
