Fashion Meets Comics: Smallville's Lois Lane: Tank Tops

Long before Smallville's Lois Lane became the Queen of Journalism she held the unofficial title of Queen of Tank Tops. They were a staple early on in her wardrobe which she sometimes paired with either a jacket or a button down shirt. And even as the series progressed with her clothes becoming more sophisticated along with her hair color changing to it's signature dark brown, she could still be seen wearing a tank top from time to time. 

With the weather already starting to heat up I was inspired by Lois' colorful tanks and found four that are easy on the budget and would be perfect for the summer. For an easy outfit I would pair it with jeans, shorts, skirts or under a loose fitted dress. I love that tank tops never go out of style although some of the trendier styles may change over time but like Lois Lane a classic is here to stay.
