Fashion: John Boyega and Raven Baxter

Everything old really is new again because as soon as I saw this picture of John Boyega wearing this Sies Marjan coat during his Star Wars press tour in New York City, I immediately thought of Raven Baxter from That's So Raven. Not many can pull off Raven's cool and unique style but John is a worthy successor with this coat.

John looked warm and very color coordinated in this luxurious blue fur-trimmed coat, turtle neck, pants and shoes. I highly doubt it's faux fur which is what Raven wore quite often in a variety of colors in the early 2000s Disney TV series. John kept the focus on the coat by pairing it with simple pieces. Raven never really played it safe with fashion, she always wore unexpected pieces together such as a bright green embellished coat paired with a ruffled top and distressed jeans to create a unique look.

I always think it's cool when guys take chances with fashion and not wear the same look all the time.
