Fashion Meets Star Style: Chloë Grace Moretz

Due to the pandemic a lot of us are working and going to school at home. Being at home has made dressing really easy because I've been wearing more sweats and lounge wear more than anything else. But I want to get back to wearing cute and non-lounge/sweat clothes again. Yet I still want to be comfortable.

Which is why I love this outfit that actress Chloë Grace Moretz wore a few years ago. I know she's wearing a sweatshirt but pairing it with a mini skirt totally kick it up a notch style wise. This look is so cute and casual yet still looks ultra-comfy.

This is a simple look to put together with a cozy sweatshirt paired with a cute skirt. Since Chloë's sweatshirt has a sheer panel, I picked this Buffy the Vampire Slayer black sweatshirt because I wanted something that was unexpected yet still pretty cool. I paired it with a faded red skirt for a pop of color.

Fashion: Zendaya's Yellow and Blue Coat

I thought we could all use a bit of spring fashion inspiration with these slightly older pictures of Zendaya in New York City for the 2014 Fashion Week. She was wearing this Miuniku coat in a vibrant combo of brilliant cobalt blue and lemon yellow with bright red accent color. I love that she paired this beautiful coat with a white button down shirt, distressed jeans and Christian Louboutin heels.

A button down with jeans is a classic and timeless look and adding this coat just made it even better. I don't know if this is considered one of Zendaya's best looks but it's one of my favorites.

Fashion: Carrie Fisher's Jumpsuit

One of the things I love about fashion is that it never truly goes out of style. It always returns in some shape or form because "Everything Old is New Again". Take for instance the jumpsuit, it's a simple piece that's easy to wear and designers are always revamping it to keep it fresh. However, I find it still has a vintage feel.

I think Carrie Fisher looked absolutely cool and sophisticated in this wrap jumpsuit. After seeing this picture, I was inspired to get the look and found five jumpsuits that have a similar timeless feel.

Fashion: John Boyega and Raven Baxter

Everything old really is new again because as soon as I saw this picture of John Boyega wearing this Sies Marjan coat during his Star Wars press tour in New York City, I immediately thought of Raven Baxter from That's So Raven. Not many can pull off Raven's cool and unique style but John is a worthy successor with this coat.

John looked warm and very color coordinated in this luxurious blue fur-trimmed coat, turtle neck, pants and shoes. I highly doubt it's faux fur which is what Raven wore quite often in a variety of colors in the early 2000s Disney TV series. John kept the focus on the coat by pairing it with simple pieces. Raven never really played it safe with fashion, she always wore unexpected pieces together such as a bright green embellished coat paired with a ruffled top and distressed jeans to create a unique look.

I always think it's cool when guys take chances with fashion and not wear the same look all the time.
