Fashion Meets Comics: Lois Lane's Workout Outfit (Smallville)

Although, we are currently forced to stay home, it doesn't mean we can't workout. However, in Lois Lane's case she probably should have stayed home instead of going running because she was nearly hit by a barn door. And that was due to Clark Kent accidentally sneezing the door off his family's barn in the Smallville episode perfectly titled "Sneeze".

Lois' outfit in that scene is an absolute style inspiration because it's colorful, athletic and has a slight retro feel to it. This feels very 70s chic and I thought it would be cool to use for a Fashion Meets Comics post.

Lois drew attention to her tone physique wearing this purple halter sports bra or top and turquoise shorts. This is a cute outfit and studies have shown that if you feel confident in what you're wearing, it can boost your motivation to workout.

In trying to get the look, I found it a little difficult not only finding a halter top but in purple. So, I went with a tank style in plum instead. Meanwhile, it was pretty easy finding shorts in a similar athletic style except with a slightly higher waistband.
