Happy Easter and Passover (Belatedly)

With the current state of the country and the world, at time it may seem difficult to feel happy let alone for the holiday. Which is why I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and a Happy belated start to Passover (which I should have posted something for it sooner). No matter how you're celebrating the holiday, from indoor egg hunts to calling or video chat with family and friends, I really just want everyone to be happy and safe.

With nearly everyone continuing to stay home, I figured it would be a good time to include a fun list of Easter and Passover TV show episodes and movies. I do have two on this list that are probably stretching it holiday wise but I chose episodes from the 1960s Batman TV series the feature the villainous Egghead and the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark because Dr. Jones was looking for the legendary religious artifact the Ark of the Covenant.

Batman

Season 2 episode 13: An Egg Grows in Gotham  Season 2 episode 14: The Yegg Foes in Gotham

Description:

Ann egg-ceptionally greedy Egghead (Vincent Prince) and his lackeys are poised to poach Gotham's charter and use a loophole to own it all. The Dynamic Duo is onto him, but in a scathing scramble Egghead's Electro-Thought Transferrer could leave our heroes at wit's end.

Bruce and Dick's quick thinking closes Egghead's loophole, but he's not going to try without a fight. He plans to plunder the City Treasury and run, but Batman and Robin are ready with a little bomb shelling.

Season 3 episode 8: The Ogg and I

Description:

Egghead joins up with Olga (Anne Baxter) to hatch a plot to kidnap Commissioner Gordon, demanding a 10 cent tax on every egg eaten. Olga also wants to marry the deviled Egghead and Batman, with our crime fighters then stymied by a veiled plot!

Season 3 episode 9: How to Hatch a Dinosaur

Description:

Egghead, Olga and the Cossacks are coming! This time their odious idea is to radiate a Neosaurus egg and have the dinosaur dine on our dauntless defenders. Can this monstrous case be cracked?

Season 3 episode 15: The Ogg Couple

Description:

Egghead and Olga are back to egg-stract valuables from the museum and poach 500 pounds of caviar! Batgirl convinces Egghead to fink on Olga, but she's trussed in a trap only Batman and Robin can unscramble.



Gossip Girl

Season 2 episode 21: Seder Anything

Description:

Serena returns from her trip to Spain with Poppy and Gabriel. Blair makes a secret deal with Nate's grandfather, William, and Nate learns some disturbing information about his father's arrest. Dan takes a job as a cater-waiter to earn money for college, but is distressed when he discovers the gig is a Passover Seder at the Waldorf penthouse and several of his friends and family are guests.



Hop

Description:

Beneath Easter Island, in a giant factory that manufactures the world's Easter candy, the Easter Bunny is preparing to pass the mantle to his son, E.B. But E.B. has no interest in the job and would rather be a drummer. He runs away to Los Angeles, where an unemployed slacker named Fred O'Hare accidentally runs into him. Feigning injury, E.B. tricks Fred into giving him shelter, but an oversized chick is planning a coup back on Easter Island.



It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown

Description:

Linus tries to convince everyone that the Easter Beagle will take care of everything. But his pals don't believe him and they have too much to do! From coloring eggs to choosing new shoes, the Peanuts gang prepares for the big day. Watch out, Easter Bunny, there's someone new in town! He has floppy ears, a funny nose and a basket full of colored eggs...and looks all too familiar to Lucy.



Peter Rabbit

Description:

Rugrats

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
