Book Girl: Fashion Meets Comics: Ayesha (The Sovereign

There is something so creepy about The Sovereign's quest for perfection. They engineer it in the creation of their people because to them Perfection is the key component to who they are as well as to everything in general. Which is why they made such interesting villains in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies because nothing is perfect and their attempt to strive for it makes them scary. By engineering perfection you lose what makes everyone unique. I would like to note that The Sovereign never would have been villains to the Guardians if Rocket hadn't stole some of their batteries. But this is getting away from the point of this post which is Fashion Meets Comics.

I was inspired by Ayesha, the Golden High Priestess of The Sovereign. Her gold halter dress truly stands out because it contain so many intricate designs, patterns and details that makes this floor-length dress structured but also bold and daring. This dress looked amazing on screen and it has this formal yet casual vibe to it. And to get the look, I used the costume as inspiration and found 10 dresses that also have a sort of formal yet casual look and feel to them.

As for accessories, the only ones I noticed Ayesha wearing are headpieces. Her clothes have so many details, she doesn't need a lot of accessories. But since I went for mostly understated dresses, I wanted to include accessories and I found some that have a Sovereign feel to them. However, this Fashion Meets Comic post was already long enough with the 10 dresses so I will post the accessories in another post.
