DVD Pick: Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and The Bold

This animated movie should have been a DVD Tuesday pick for yesterday but I just found out that Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and The Bold had been released. I don't know how I missed that.

As some of you may know, I'm a huge Scooby-Doo fan but I'm also a big fan of Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series, I still don't know why that series was ever cancelled. It's a given that I'm going to get this animated movie because you can't go wrong with the Scooby-Doo gang solving crimes in the Batman universe.

There is something that I have been wondering, did anyone see any promotion for this movie? If I had not seen something for it this morning I probably would have never know about it. Unless I lucked up on it while I was at the store.

I really want a Wonder Woman animated series and Steve Trevor also must be in the series. She was on a couple of episodes on Batman: The Brave and the Bold series. This was her first appearance.

Review:

This was a fun little comic based on the Batman: TBATB animated series (which no longer airs) and it focused on a break-in at The House of Mystery on Halloween. To find the culprit, Batman along with Zatanna try to find the one responsible by tracking down the usual suspects for magical crimes including that annoying little imp Mister Mxyzptlk. There were a lot of funny moments in this which had me laughing.

I stated above, I thought the story was fun to read and the story wasn't overly complicated (which is good you don't want to confuse little kids). Since this is supposed to be geared towards children there wasn't any graphic violence, so it's great for all ages.
