In honor of the soldiers past and present I want to wish everyone a very Happy Memorial Day!

I was wondering how are all my readers planning on celebrating the holiday? Are you spending time with family and friends? Enjoying some of the numerous sales? Taking time to relax and enjoy some quality time alone?

I am going to be spending time with my family later today enjoying some good food. But I also plan on being out in nature going for a walk. There are a few shows and movies, I'm going to try to watch. Whether I get to it or not, I want to start reading Ways to Make Sunshine by Renée Watson. I also want to check and see if there are any good sales. It's not like I need any new books but there are a few I wouldn't mind getting especially if they're on sale.

It's Memorial Day and the final day of May! Today we honor all the soldiers who have sacrificed so much and thank them for their service. As well as give them all of our gratitude.

How are you celebrating the holiday? Are you cooking a wonderful meal? Going shopping either online or in stores trying to find some good sales? Relaxing with a good book or a movie and TV show marathon? However, you plan to enjoy the day, I hope it's a good and safe one.

Today we honor and give thanks to all those who have served and have unfortunately lost their lives. This Memorial Day I would also like to send my condolences to all those who have died from the Coronavirus. They along with the soldiers should not be forgotten.

It's disappointing that so many are going out not wearing masks nor social distancing while so many have died and others continue to be sick. What happened to kindness, compassion and doing everything we can to stop the spread of the virus?

I just want to end this post wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day and hoping everyone will continue to stay safe by staying home, washing your hands, wearing a mask and social distancing.

I would like to give thanks to all who have served and lost their lives. Wars are something that should only happen when necessary because even when you win there are still so many losses. I would also like to give thanks to those who are currently serving or who have served.

In honor of Memorial Day, I wanted to put together a list of movies that show characters fighting for something. From an alien attack in Battle: Los Angeles to fighting against Nazis in Captain America: The First Avenger these movies show the dedication and bravery to fight for either a change or a better world or to fix a colossal mistake such as in Kong: Skull Island where the military ventured some where they should have never gone.
