Art of the Day: Gomez and Morticia Addams

I love this artwork. I remember reading that the artist took inspiration from actors Oscar Isaac and Ruth Negga and re-imagined them as Gomez and Morticia Addams. I also remember both actors being on a lot of fans' fancast lists for the iconic characters. Well Oscar did get to voice Gomez in the animated movies but I think it would have been interesting if both had been cast as the characters for a new live-action movie.

Inventing Chloe (Saturday Night Live)

I haven't watched the Netflix miniseries Inventing Anna but I have seen the trailer. And this Saturday Night Live parody Inventing Chloe was so funny. I thought Chloe Fineman and all the other actors (including Oscar Isaac) did a good job with this skit.

Fashion: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Cast at the London Premiere

The cast of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker continue to sparkle and shine at the London premiere. I am loving all the fashion, from John Boyega's Nigerian suit to Keri Russell's flowy dress, they all seem to make these outfits work.

John and Daisy's blue and intricate outfits are not only impressive but they both complement each other and the blue carpet. It must be noted that Oscar's tweed suit gives off a very corporate banker/business vibe. Out of the cast, I feel like he's the least likeliest one to try something a bit more daring fashion wise on the red carpet.

Fashion: The Cast of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" at the Los Angeles Premiere

Last night, while I was watching the live stream of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Los Angeles premiere, I couldn't help thinking how amazing the cast looked. From Daisy Ridley to Naomi Ackie, they all look simply stunning.

However, I was disappointed with many of the outfits some of the celebrity guests were wearing on the blue carpet. Can you imagine being invited to the premiere and then decide to show up wearing some overly casual outfit? I can't believe so many of them didn't make the effort to look as amazing as possible. Yes, I'm talking about you Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes along with a bunch of other people.

This video John Boyega posted on Instagram is one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. It's a brilliant Star Wars promo and it makes me feel like I'm watching a modern day scene of a Jane Austen novel with John writing to his co-star Oscar Isaac.

So now we are left wondering, will Oscar accept his invitation?
