Fashion Meets Star Style: Daisy Ridley

I love how the stylist put Daisy Ridley in a Star Wars t-shirt and paired it with a pastel orange layered voluminous ruffled skirt. It's really eye-catching. Anyone else think this outfit looks like something that Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw would have worn on the show if she was perhaps going to a Star Wars movie red carpet premiere.

Storytime: Daisy Ridley Reading "BB-8 on the Run"

I hope everyone is doing well and taking care of themselves while we're dealing with the Coronavirus. I know a lot of us are turning to books as comfort and I noticed there are some videos posted by celebrities, authors and bookworms reading books. I'm going to try to post some of them as well as the books that they are reading.

The first video I'm posing is of actress Daisy Ridley reading the Star Wars children's book BB-8 on the Run by Drew Dewalt with illustrations by Matt Myers. I've posted the information about the book below.

It's also Daisy Ridley's 28th birthday and from all us bookworms I want to wish her a very Happy Birthday!

Fashion: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Cast at the London Premiere

The cast of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker continue to sparkle and shine at the London premiere. I am loving all the fashion, from John Boyega's Nigerian suit to Keri Russell's flowy dress, they all seem to make these outfits work.

John and Daisy's blue and intricate outfits are not only impressive but they both complement each other and the blue carpet. It must be noted that Oscar's tweed suit gives off a very corporate banker/business vibe. Out of the cast, I feel like he's the least likeliest one to try something a bit more daring fashion wise on the red carpet.

Fashion: The Cast of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" at the Los Angeles Premiere

Last night, while I was watching the live stream of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Los Angeles premiere, I couldn't help thinking how amazing the cast looked. From Daisy Ridley to Naomi Ackie, they all look simply stunning.

However, I was disappointed with many of the outfits some of the celebrity guests were wearing on the blue carpet. Can you imagine being invited to the premiere and then decide to show up wearing some overly casual outfit? I can't believe so many of them didn't make the effort to look as amazing as possible. Yes, I'm talking about you Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes along with a bunch of other people.

Anyway, here are some of the casts' amazing looks, let me know which one of is your favorite.

In a perfect world, Daisy Ridley would continue to have a successful acting career following the end of Star Wars, I think she's fantastic as Rey but the acting world is so weird. Take for instance, Mena Massoud who starred as the titular character Aladdin in the live-action Disney movie, he recently stated that despite starring in this blockbuster movie he is not getting any auditions. Mena did an absolutely terrific job as Aladdin yet his acting career is not moving along like it should have.

This is why I hope that Daisy (as well as John Boyega and Oscar Isaac) will continue to find good roles and interesting projects to star in. By the way, I love her hair. I always found the bob to be a very flattering hairstyle.
