Fashion Meets Comics: Sue Storm (Fantastic Four movie)

In the Fantastic Four movies, scientist Sue Storm had a style that was classic with a touch of glam. I really like this outfit she wore in the first movie, it's a cardigan paired with a cami and trouser jeans and I thought it would be perfect for Fashion Meets Comics.

This is such an easy and modern look and I could see wearing it just about anywhere be it for casual Friday or running errands during the weekend. Although it's simple, this outfit has a polished feel to it, that can easily be paired with flats, sandals, heels or boots.

You don't have to be a scientist to know that this look is easy to put together especially since it's nothing but basics. However, the only thing I changed about the look were the trouser jeans (which are not easy to find) and replaced them with a great pair of dark wash jeans.

This is such a cute and simple outfit, feel free to add whatever type of accessories you like to complete the look.

Art of the Day: The Fantastic Four

Artwork: The Fantastic Four by Paolo Rivera

The Fantastic Four at the beach, I really like this. I also like that even Sue and Reed's children Franklin and Valeria were included. Poor Ben why does he have to carry everything. Even though he's super strong it's really not fair for him to be hauling all the beach stuff.

Fashion Meets Comics: Sue Storm

Image: from the Fantastic Four movie

I was inspired by Sue Storm's Fantastic Four uniform to create two outfits, I love the mash-up of different textures and colors. Sue may be a scientist but it doesn't take a genius to see how chic, edgy and cool her uniform is.

From the neutrality of the black to the boldness of the blue, I wanted to see if I could put together outfits in this daring color combo.

For the first outfit, I paired a jacket with a dress and the second outfit is a jacket, top and jeans. I included an accessory with each look.

Throwback Thursday: Fantastic Four (from FF: Rise Of The Silver Surfer)

Does anyone know why this version of Fantastic Four did not get a third movie? I liked both movies especially the second one and I figured another movie would eventually be made. I don't know why this franchise didn't get a third movie since Spider-Man, Blade and X-Men each got one.

Although a new FF movie will be out this year (more on that in another post) I wanted to show a little appreciated for the original cast. I thought all the actors did a great job and I loved the uniforms. If I ever decided to do any Cosplay the first one I would attempt would be Sue Storm's movie uniform. I absolutely love it.
