Throwback Thorsday Most Memorable Scene: The Revengers vs Hela's Army (Thor: Ragnarok)

I love Thor: Ragnarok it was such an unexpected cinematic adventure from the beginning to the end. And I also love this scene with Heimdall, Korg and The Revengers (Thor, Loki, Valkyrie and Hulk) fighting Hela's army to stop Hela and rescue the Asgardians.

In the first Thor movie, Thor was so arrogant and thought he was all powerful compared with how he doubted himself and his powers in the third movie trying to stop his sister Hela. But once he realized his strength, he was able to draw upon his full powers which was visually stunning. I would have loved to have seen another movie with The Revengers they were an interesting team.

Thor: Ragnarok: Hulk Poster

I was already sold on going to see Thor: Ragnarok, I'm a Thor fan enough said. But when it was announced that Hulk was going to be in the movie that totally increased my interest in seeing it. Mark Ruffalo's nerdy Bruce Banner is one of my favorite live action versions of the Hulk. And with this powerhouse added to Thor's team, I can't see how they can lose the fight against Hela.

Video: What Thor Was Up To During Captain America: Civil War

I've already seen this twice and I can't get over how ridiculous it is. This is great, I absolutely love it. So, doing the whole time of Captain America: Civil War, Thor took some time off and went to Australia. He wanted to hang out with or is it more like harassing average humans. Poor Darryl, he has this look of "why me"?

For some reason I can't image DC Comics/Warner Bros. releasing something like this. I wish they would, these videos are something fun for fans to enjoy.

Art of the Day: Betty Ross and The Hulk

Artwork: Betty Ross and The Hulk by Carlo Pagulayan

This artwork is amazing!

I would really like to know where Betty Ross is, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is no reason why she hasn't made at least a cameo in either Avengers or Avengers: Age of Ultron. They would rather try to force a lackluster relationship between the Hulk and Black Widow instead of at least acknowledging that Betty even exist.

Book Review: Marvel Knights: Hulk

Book: Marvel Knights: Hulk: Transformé (issues #1-4) by Joe Keating with illustration by Piotr Kowalski and color by Nick Filardi

Edition: Single Print Issues

Rating: 4 stars

Review:

This is the second Marvel Knights miniseries that I've read and enjoyed. I may have to look into picking up a few more.

The story opens with Bruce Banner in Paris suffering from some sort of amnesia. He was found floating in the Seine by Dyane, a woman who had noticed him acting strange earlier in the day on the subway. Dyane helped him by treating his wounds but he still couldn't remember who he was.

While trying to help jog his memory, Dyane takes him around Paris but they had no idea that two mysterious men in trench coats were looking for them. They found Banner in a bar and tried to capture him, it didn't work and Banner was soon able to escape but everything went terribly wrong when they started to transform into huge hulk like creatures. They chased Banner through the city and caused damage, destruction and death everywhere in their pursuit. But why did they want him?

A splintered group of A.I.M. was looking to bring in the Hulk to use as a weapon but if they couldn't do that then they would destroy him. But even in Banner's current state the Hulk is not one to be easily destroyed. After surviving the attack in Paris, Banner still wound up getting captured by the group, which was led by Nikoleta Harrow. Harrow had a plan to use the Hulk to attack A.I.M. but there was a problem, no matter what they do they can not get Banner mad enough to turn into the Hulk. But that didn't stop Harrow, she attempted one more try which resulted in the Hulk emerging but in a completely different yet controllable way.

Now able to control the Hulk, Harrow had him attack A.I.M. and anyone else she called an enemy. This story also gave an interesting look back at Banner's life through flashback as you see how he first got caught in the gamma testing and how everything changed for him there on. At some point, Banner regained his memory but too bad for him Harrow already set in place another part of her plan. With A.I.M. on the attack, she thought it was the best time to prove once and for all that she was the best there is. However, no one is stronger than the Hulk.

There were a lot of interesting things about this, such as it appears that all of what went on may have been concocted as some twisted game by Doctor Doom and Doctor Midas. Of course, those two would think playing with people's lives would be a fun game. I also like how this ended with Bruce not only trying his hardest to forgive himself for everything but trying to offer a sincere apology to someone who deserved it.

This turned out to be a good read, it was well-written with good artwork.

Fashion Meets Comics: Hulk's Pants (Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.)

Fashionable and the Hulk don't usually go together. But since I've been watching the Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. animated series and I couldn't help noticing that the Hulk is wearing cropped or capri styled yoga pants.

I'm sure these are some sort of compression pants but I couldn't help smiling whenever I see the big guy in them. Who doesn't love wearing yoga pants, they're so comfortable and perfect to lounge in. And now you can add the Hulk to that list.

Below are five Hulk inspire looks:

Illustration of the Day: The Hulk Gets a New Look

Illustration: Hulk Fashion by Cris-Art

I guess the Hulk thought if he dyed his hair blond like Teddy maybe everyone would like him too. It might work if the Hulk can keep his temper under control (which is probably not going to happen).
