I just love this movie, You, Me & Tuscany, it's so cute, funny and romantic. It's one of my favorite romantic comedies, the story has that classic feel to it. You get a misunderstanding, risk taking coupled with a rash decision but ultimately leading to a wonderful romance. I have been waiting on this be released on DVD so I can get it and rewatch it.

As much as I wanted to, I wasn't able to go to the movies over the weekend. I really want to see You, Me & Tuscany, so I'm going to go on Tuesday to see it. The movie just looks like such a fun, cute and romantic story. So many romantic comedies center around some sort of a misunderstanding and this one seems to hinge on Anna not getting caught being in an Italian villa by pretending to be Marco's fiance. I know once the truth is out, it's going to be a big mess especially since she's most likely fallen for Michael. It's going to be a total mess.
I just love romantic comedies and there just doesn't seem to be a lot of them on the big screen as they used to be. Which is why I can't wait to see You, Me & Tuscany.

I didn't get to see Captain America: Brave New World when it was released last week, so I'm going to see it today. From the comic books to the movies and the show, I've been a big Sam Wilson fan which is why I'm so happy that he got be Captain America on screen. I can't wait to see this movie, it has Captain America trying to save the day to stop a huge global problem. So far, I have managed to avoid spoilers. Another movie I'm going to watch later today is the Hallmark movie Sisterhood, Inc.. It follows as a big sister who is trying to makeover her younger sister's life. And while doing that, she unexpectedly finds love.
I can't wait to watch both movies, they just seem so fun and interesting.

There are some interesting movies out this weekend. Although it's not on my list, I am interested in seeing Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. However, I've only seen the first movie from the rebooted series and I'm not sure if you need to have watched all the others before seeing this latest one. So that's why it's not on my list.
As for the other movies: Not Another Church Movie, Poolman and A Whitewater Romance they all seem interesting. I don't remember the last time I've seen a parody or spoof movie and Not Another Church Movie is a clearly a parody of Tyler Perry and his movies. It looks like a funny movie. And so does Poolman which has quirky characters and a strange and quirky mystery. And last is A Whitewater Romance a romantic comedy that's centers around a competition that's set in the Rocky Mountains.

Happy Saturday! What movies are you watching this weekend?
Abigail is definitely a must see for me. They kidnapped a little girl that turned out to be a vampire. Sasquatch Sunset looks so weird and ridiculous that I have to see it. I've been hearing that it's a gross movie but so are horror movies, so it shouldn't be an issue. As for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, it looks like an interesting action movie that's set in World War II. The last movie, Falling in Love in Niagara is a romantic comedy that follows Madeline who was dumped before her wedding possibly finding love on her would be honeymoon to Niagara.
All of these movies look good but I don't know if I have time today to go to the theatre. I'm going to try and see if I can go tomorrow. But I'm definitely going to watch Falling in Love in Niagara tonight.

When do you like going to the movie? Are you a morning or evening movie goer? I love to get up early and go to the theatre. It's just something I enjoy, watching a movie early in the day. I'll go watch movies in the evening or at night but I just prefer going in the morning or as early as possible.
Anyway, what movies are you watching this weekend? There are four I want to see: horror (Arcadian and Sting), a comedy (Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead) and a romantic comedy (Legend of the Lost Locket). I love that horror movies are year round movies instead of mainly being released in the fall. Both Arcadian and Sting look creepy especially Sting since I don't like spiders but that's not going to stop me wanting to see it. I wonder what the creatures are in Arcadian? Are they mutated animals, people or something else? It will be interesting to find out.
As for the other two movies: Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead and Legend of the Lost Locket. I love watching the original Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead and this new one looks just as fun. Can you imagine being a kid trying to figure what to do after your babysitter died? I always thought the older sister did as best as could trying to take care of her siblings and work a demanding crazy job. So, yeah, I can't wait to see this. And finally, Legend of the Lost Locket is a romantic comedy (more like romantic quest) that follows an antiques expert who is looking for a special locket that supposed to bring true love. This looks like a cute movie, I can't wait to watch it tonight.

Dev Patel being an action movie star was totally not on my radar but I have to see Monkey Man. I love a good action movie especially one that has an interesting story that follows a guy seeking his revenge against those who steamroll over the lives of poor and disadvantages people. This looks good. I'm going to check and see if I can tickets for it today if not then I'll go tomorrow.
From action to romance, Blind Date Book Club centers around a bookstore owner and an author and the possibility of love and romance. This looks like it's going to be a cute movie. I just love bookstore romance movies. I'm a little behind in watching a lot of the new Hallmark movies but I will be watching this one.

I'm so happy that Red, White & Royal Blue did amazing, it's currently the #1 movie worldwide on Amazon Prime. I'm sure they hoped the movie would do well especially among the book nerds who read and loved the book and were looking forward to the release of the movie. But they probably never expected so many viewers (and not just from book nerds) to have watched this as well as rewatched it. And since the movie premiered last Friday (August 11th), it's definitely one of the most popular fandoms online.
I also wouldn't be surprised if sales for the book Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston increased from new fans wanting to read the story after seeing it. I'll be honest, although I haven't read the paperback copy that's sitting on my shelf (I will), I did recently buy the hardcover collector's edition on Saturday (August 12th). And I'm think of getting an official tote bag along with the movie tie-in cover (which I never do) of the book.
Anyway, back to the movie, fans loved it so much they have been asking for a sequel. Some are even asking for Red, White & Royal Blue to be turned into a trilogy. And not to mention they are also asking for the three hour director's cut version of the movie prior to editing that was mentioned by the movie director, Matthew López in an interview. As a big fan of romantic comedies, I have to say I really enjoyed the movie so much I wouldn't mind seeing either a sequel or the director's cut. But regardless, I'm happy with the movie that was released, it truly is a fun and romantic film.
Okay, I know it's been a while since I've posted a Weekend Films especially since I continue to watch so many new movies. Anyway, there are five movies that I want to see: A Safari Romance, Heart of Stone, Jules; Red, White & Royal Blue and The Last Voyage of the Demeter. There are quite a few choices and genres: two romantic comedies (A Safari Romance and Red, White & Royal Blue), an action movie (Heart of Stone), a sci-fi comedy (Jules) and horror (The Last Voyage of the Demeter).
Okay, so it's technically four movies I want to see, since I've already watched Red, White & Royal Blue yesterday. But that doesn't mean I can't watch it again which I'll probably do after I watch Heart of Stone. Because it's a wonderful, absolutely terrific film that has all the elements of a classic romantic comedy. I'll definitely count it as one of my favorite movies and romantic comedies.
As for the other movies, they seem really interesting first is A Safari Romance which has a biologist and a theme park designer exploring the wilderness and of course finding love. Second is Heart of Stone which looks like an exciting action movie centered around a shadowy organization and missing technology. Third is Jules a sci-fi comedy that looks like a fun movie about a group of senior citizens caring for an alien. And finally, The Last Voyage of the Demeter a horror movie that centers around the crew of the Demeter who unknowingly were transporting one of the greatest evils, Dracula. I keep saying I'm going to read Dracula by Bram Stoker but so far I have yet to get around to it. Anyway, can't wait to see this movie and the others.

I had planned to read the book it's based on, Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston before seeing the movie. No surprise, it's been sitting on my bookshelf for far too long and with the way my reading slump keeps returning, I may end up seeing the movie first. Anyway, this looks like a fun little movie that looks like it's full of hilarious antics, unexpected romance and political intrigue.

This movie seems interesting. It's about a character that's a little uptight and could definitely use a vacation. And she ends up meeting someone who she probably would have never allowed herself to meet if she hadn't taken that vacation. So yeah, I want to see this and see how her life changes by taking the time to relax and enjoy the moment.

I don't know why I always seem to forget that Erin Cahill was the Pink Power Ranger from Power Rangers Time Force. However, that's a topic for a different post, this is Weekend Films and she's co-starring with Marco Grazzini in a new baseball theme romantic comedy, Hearts in the Game.
I'm sure Hazel will be professional but it has to be difficult at least initially trying to work with her ex-boyfriend Diego and try to get his career back on track. And I'm sure they will reconnect which makes me think that their high school break up was probably due to some sort of misunderstanding. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how they end up back together because we all know it's going to happen. I just love watching these Hallmark movies.

The first movie, A Pinch of Portugal is a romantic comedy set around food, cooking, love and romance and a great location. It looks like Anna is going to get a lot of support and possibly a little romance when she has to take over a cooking show. This looks really cute and romantic movie. The second one Evil Dead Rise is the latest horror installment in the Evil Dead series. An estranged relationship between sisters takes center stage but it looks like their reunion will be short-lived (no pun intended) if they can't survive all the ghastly horrors that are attacking them.

It's Saturday and that means new movies. What movies are you watching this weekend? I haven't posted a Weekend Films in a while because there hasn't been a lot new movies released that have interested me. Well, I'm glad to say there are three new movies that I'm interested in seeing: Renfield, The Pope's Exorcist and The Wedding Cottage.
The first movie, Renfield is a horror comedy that centers on the titular character who seems very much tired of working for Dracula. Who can blame him and despite the power perks of working for Dracula, it doesn't seem like a good job at all. The second, The Pope's Exorcist is a horror movie. Although nothing will ever beat The Exorcist which was released in 1973, this does seem like an interesting movie with the Pope uncovering a secret that's linked to a possession. The last movie is The Wedding Cottage is a romantic comedy that centers on a wedding planner that's trying to get the perfect location for her clients but has the deal with the owner who has no desire to re-open it. This seems like a cute movie and I think this is the first time that Erin Krakow and Brendan Penny starred in a movie together.

February is the month of Black History, Love, Cold Weather and of course new movies. What movies are you watching this weekend? There are three that I'm interested in seeing: Knock at the Cabin, Sweeter Than Chocolate and The Amazing Maurice.
The first movie, Knock on the Cabin seems terrifying because you don't know if the people who showed up at your cabin are telling the truth or not about preventing the apocalypse. And if they are, would you be able to sacrifice one of your family members to save the world? Or do you let the world end?
As for the second movie, Sweeter Than Chocolate, it's a romantic comedy centering around chocolates that bring true love. Whether that's true or not, a reporter finds interest in the story and the chocolatier. The last movie, The Amazing Maurice is an animated movie that seems like a fun take on the old pied piper tale. It's centered around a talking cat, his rat friends and his piper friend who have been pulling off cons when they stumble upon something sinister.
All three movies seems very interesting: apocalyptic horror, chocolate and romance and a fairy tale. What movies are you watching this weekend?

It's been awhile since I've posted a Weekend Film. There are three movies that I'm interested in seeing: M3GAN, The Pale Blue Eye and The Wedding Veil: Expectations.
M3GAN is a sci-fi horror movie with an advanced robot that seems to take being a friend and protector too far. The Pale Blue Eye is a horror mystery movie that centers around murders at a military school. And last is The Wedding Veil: Expectations, it's the fourth film in the romantic comedy movie series and this time it seems a new addition may be added to Avery and Peter's family.
These seem like interesting movies and I really want to see them. I'm not sure I can go to the theatre today to see M3GAN but I'm definitely going to watch the other two since they're on Netflix and Hallmark. What movies are you watching this weekend?

I hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend and do you have any movie plans? Well, I have four movies that seem very interesting: Autumn in the City, Halloween Ends, Let's Get Physical and The Curse of Bridge Hollow.
The first movie seems really cute, Autumn in the City is a romantic comedy set in New York City with a woman trying to find herself and maybe even find a little romance. Next is Halloween Ends, the final movie in the Halloween series, with Laurie Strode going up against Michael Myers for the last time. The next is the drama Let's Get Physical that's based on a true story with the movie following Sadie a fitness instructor who is also a prostitute. And last is The Curse of Bridge Hollow a supernatural comedy set during Halloween when a ghost is accidently released and is causing terror throughout the town.
All four movies are a must see for me. Now all I have to do is to remember to grab my snacks so I can sit back and enjoy these movies.
