Yes, I just love it. It's all so over the top especially when they are basically invisible to humans due to the use of one of their magical tattoos (or runes). Which is why it was all surprising and dramatic that Clary Fray was able to see Jace after he bumped into her. But back to them being invisible, none of the things they did were necessary especially since no one except for the shapeshifter (who wasn't really paying attention) to notice them. Which is why all of this during the opening scene just makes this so memorable.

Most Memorable Scene: Shadowhunters Opening Scene
I don't know, I just love the opening scene in the Shadowhunters season 1 first episode The Mortal Cup. It's just so dramatic with Alexander "Alec" Lightwood, his sister Isabelle "Izzy" Lightwood and their brother Jace Wayland tracking a shapeshifter (or possible demon, it's been a while since I've watched the show). Anyway, they didn't have to do half of the things they did to keep eye on the shapeshifter. Which includes the coordinated backward flips down to the ground.

Maia Roberts and Jace Herondale: A Potential Romance Wasted
There are some characters who have instant chemistry such as with the Shadowhunters TV series characters Jace Herondale (Dominic Sherwood), a Shadowhunter and Maia Roberts (Alisha Wainwright), a werewolf. Since this show is loosely based on The Mortal Instruments books by Cassandra Clare, it really would have been interesting if the writers had explored a relationship between Jace and Maia after they hooked up in the episode "Those of Demon Blood" (season 2 episode 13). Instead it was a one time hook up that felt like a total waste since nothing more happened between them especially since these two have such amazing chemistry. Although, they clashed a lot in the beginning, their strong, flirty and sarcastic personalities really work well together.

Shadowhunters Trailer for S2 E16: "Day of Atonement"
Last week's episode was very emotional with Magnus talking about his past while Sebastian's story continues to be a very interesting yet twisted ordeal. I really want to see what's he is up to in tonight's episode.
It looks like Maia is going to be helping Simon deal with some family drama, I really like their friendship. I'm a little disappointed that Maia and Jace so far have been nothing more than a hook up. It looks like the show is slowly working it's way back to Clary and Jace, I'm not a fan of these two being together because they have no chemistry. But as book fans keep tell me, they are together in the books. However, just because they are together in the books doesn't mean they have to be on the show especially if they have no chemistry. Well, that's a discussion for another day, can't wait to watch this episode.

Shadowhunters Trailer and Sneak Peeks for S2 E15: "A Problem of Memory"
It's Shadowhunters Monday and that means a new trailer and sneak peeks. After the last episode, Simon doesn't seem to be able to deal with what happened with Clary and Jace. And it looks like he might be drowning his sorrows in blood.
From the sneak peak it looks Magnus' past is finally going to be shown and hopefully discussed between him and Alec. I really want to know what Sebastian is up to, he is such a creep. I can't wait to see this episode.

Shadowhunters Trailer and Three Sneak Peeks for S2 Ep14: "The Fair Folk"
Who watched last night's episode of Preacher? That was crazy and another new episode airs tonight at 9:00 PM EST. Do you guys want a TV Round Up for Preacher?
And since it's Monday that means it's another episode of Shadowhunters and it looks like Clary, Simon and Jace will be facing a test that might impact Clary and Simon's relationship.
I hope Luke doesn't follow through with trying to kill Valentine because getting a mysterious phone call from someone wanting you kill someone pretty much screams it's a set up. I don't trust Luke's new partner, I believe she is up to something. And until proven otherwise, I will continue to see her as some one who is secretly planning something. I wonder how the meeting between Izzy and her mother will go? Will Maryse finally show a little compassion to Izzy or continue to be judgmental and tough?
It will be interesting to see how everything turns out in this episode.

TV Round Up: Shadowhunters S2 Ep 13: Those of Demon Blood
I was so right, last night's Shadowhunters episode "Those of Demon Blood" was awesome. Shadowhunters were being killed and it looks like the Downworlders were to blame. The Clave was issuing out commands and you know nothing good would come from that. And not to mention Jace was now Head of the New York Institute.
To think his grandmother Inquisitor Imogen Herondale really thought he was suited for the job. She must have had her nepotism blinders on to make that terrible decision. I can't believe Simon and Maia were locked up in the Institute, Simon for not leaving the premises and Maia for being accused of murdering a Shadowhunter. I kept wondering why Jace didn't stand up to his grandmother? Yes, I know he just found out that he's a Herondale but he can't roll over and let his grandmother take over his life.

Shadowhunters Trailer and Two Sneak Peeks for S2 Ep13: "Those of Demon Blood"
I know I said this last week but this episode looks really good. From the sneak peek it looks like Jace is now in charge of the New York Institute instead of Alec. That sucks because Jace is far too unqualified and reckless for the job and I bet he goes on a power trip too.
I can't wait to see the fight scene between Maia and Jace because how can he expect the werewolves to accept getting tracking chips implanted in them. And I'm sure there is no way Magnus is going to hand over one lock of hair to the Shadowhunters, who knows what they would do with it. I can't believe Jace would lock up Simon what could that nerd have possibly done to warrant that. I wonder if jealousy is clouding Jace's judgment towards Simon for dating Clary.
Shadowhunters are not better than the Downworlders just because they have angel blood. And it seems to be that Shadowhunters are the ones who cause a lot of the problems with their arrogance, prejudices, etc. which is unfortunately aimed at the Downworlders. I have to see how this episode will end, hopefully with Jace being fired with Alec getting the job. But we'll see.

What I hope will happen on Shadowhunters 2B?
I'm sure as fans, we are going to be in for a quite a few surprises for the second half of Shadowhunters season two. And from doing a quick search, I see that fans have been guessing as to what will happen on the show and with the characters. And that got me thinking about what I would like to see happen.
For the show, I hope that at some point Idris will be shown. The Shadowhunters' home world has been mention quite a few times on the show and I would love to see it. I wish the werewolves and vampires were more ferocious to give the Shadowhunters more of a fight and I want to see more demons. Now as for some of the characters here's what I hope to see for them:
Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara)
I hope Clary will be less annoying and less idiotic for the rest of the season. She has the potential to be a great character but the way she's been shown for season 1 and the first half of season 2 is really off putting. She has a tendency to be selfish, extremely naïve but at the same time try to take control of situations she is clearly not ready for. I want Clary to continue with her art because her interest in that should not be sidelined now that she's a Shadowhunter.

Video: Shadowhunters: Fight: Alec vs Jace
I like this fight between Jace and Alec because Jace is always being called the best Shadowhunter and the best fighter but Alec pretty much kicked his butt. What annoys me is that just like Clary, Jace believe everything is about him. Alec has so many issues and his feelings for Jace are not even at the top of that long list of problems.
Although it pains me to say this, for once I actually agree with Jace in that Alec was not thinking clearly. He was willing to go along with Lydia Branwell's bad decision to subject Meliorn to the Silent Brothers which would kill him but that's not important to Lydia nor to an extremely conflicted Alec.
Regardless of the outcome, it was a good fight.
