I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and each adaptation always brings something different. And this upcoming new animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem seems to continue that. This looks like it's going to be a fun movie. Although, I do wish it was something that aired on TV, I don't know it just feels like a TV movie. Anyway, I can't wait to see this which will be in theatres on August 4th.

I know I'm a day early for Weekend Films but I didn't want anyone to miss this movie.
To me, there's never enough Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I have been waiting patiently for the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and now it's finally premiering today on Netflix. This movie feels like a fun little nod to the Terminator franchise and I just love it.
I can't wait to watch this movie. I know some TMNT fans didn't like the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series because of the animation style but it's (or was, since it was cancelled by Nickelodeon) a really fun and interesting action-packed series. Which is why I do hope some of those fans will at least take a chance and watch the movie because it looks like it's going to be good.

I know the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie got a lot of criticism from fans and critics but it's actually a pretty good movie. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed watching it and I thought Megan Fox did a great job portraying April O'Neil.
The first movie was not only an origin story for the turtles but also for April who as an up-and-coming reporter not only stumbled upon an amazing story but helped the turtles in stopping Shredder. If you haven't seen the movie yet, I'd give it a watch because it turned out to be a fun movie.
The first TMNT's movie surprised me, especially Megan Fox as April O'Neil. I admit it, I was one of those fans who doubted Megan Fox as being capable of playing a really good version of April. However, she did a wonderful job and the movie was surprisingly good.
Since I didn't see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows when it was in theatres I am going to try to pick this up sometime this week. I really do want to see it. I'm not sure I would have cast Stephen Amell to play Casey Jones his look is too clean cut and preppy. I feel like Casey needs an edge but hey I can't change casting, I will just have to over look it when I watch the movie.

For today's Book of Interest, I knew I had to post this. I'm a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. I love watching the cartoons (old and new), reading the comics and watching the movies (even the not so good ones).
I want to read this book mainly because April O'Neil and Casey Jones will both get a story. Surprisingly enough I'm actually interested in reading the stories about the turtles' enemies. I'm really looking forward to picking this up.
Well, I better get back to looking through my closet, I must find something to wear.

I spotted this Funko Pop! April O'Neil figurine the last time I was at the comic book store. Hopefully it's still there the next time I go back. How cool and adorable is this? I love that it's the retro 1980s April. Nothing is more retro than that yellow jumpsuit.
I wonder if Funko makes a Lois Lane doll. That would be so awesome if they did.
I honestly thought that was a joke until I read the article. Megan Fox will be playing April O'Neil in the upcoming Michael Bay Ninja Turtles movie.
I like Megan Fox but she's not who I would think of to play April. Hopefully the turtle brothers will no longer be considered aliens in this movie as Michael Bay had mention some time ago.
