Trailer for tonight's episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star: New Hot Mess

I'm cutting it close posting this right before 9-1-1: Lone Star airs. I was wondering what did you think of last week's episode The New Hotness? I thought it was pretty good but I hope the Showrunner and writers don't drag out the biker gang plotline too long. Because somehow Owen Strand unknowingly got himself involved with a dangerous biker gang who may be planning some sort of big attack. And the ending makes it seem like he'll probably work with the FBI to stop them. I don't know why on both 9-1-1 shows that they have the firefighters (Robert "Bobby" Nash and Evan "Buck" Buckley on 9-1-1 and Owen on Lone Star) involved in solving mysteries.

As for my thoughts on the rest of the episode, I didn't think Carlos Reyes' secret was that shocking. Plus, I had already correctly guessed that Carlos was already married but not to who. I had seen where some fans were mad about this plot for Carlos but it's just a little bit of drama to added to the story. I'm sure TK and Carlos will most likely get married this season so I'm not worried about this storyline, I just hope it doesn't get dragged out for too long. As for Tommy Vega, I'm glad she met a nice guy but since he's a Preacher, I wonder if that will cause any issues. Anyway, I can't wait to watch tonight's episode.

9-1-1: Lone Star season 4 episode 2: New Hot Mess                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 FOX

Description:

The 126 race to the rescue when a woman is trapped in her mobile house. Owen has a run-in with former nemesis Sgt. O'Brien. Tommy asks Grace for dating advice and TK and Carlos meet with Iris.

Quote: Evan Buckley and Edmundo Diaz

Why does 9-1-1 have such a long hiatus? I can't wait for the show to return in March but until then it's still 9-1-1 Monday. And I'm going to keep posting something each Monday.

I love the full montage scene in the sixth season episode Crash and Learn of Henrietta "Hen" Wilson trying to study for her Medical School classes and being Interim-Captain. However, she was definitely stretching herself thin and near the end of the montage, she was so worn out she must have fallen asleep in the fire truck. Although there was nothing Buck and Eddie could do for their friend and Interim-Captain who was worn out but at least Eddie suggested getting her a pillow. That was really kind and sweet of them to try to look out for her. And she could truly use that pillow because with the way she's sleeping, I'm sure her neck is probably going to hurt as soon as she woke up.

Buck: I think we should do something.

Eddie: Get her a pillow.

~ Evan "Buck" Buckley and Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz, 9-1-1 season 6 episode 2: Crash and Learn

(9-1-1 season 6 episode 2: Crash and Learn)

Fandom Thoughts: Why don't fans talk about the Avatar movies?

Happy Monday! I had this fandom thought on my mind for awhile and wanted to post it.

I find it rather interesting that online I rarely see anything posted from fans about the Avatar movies especially since the latest one Avatar: The Way of Water is in theatres. The only thing that seemed to get mentioned is the constant "record breaking" box office numbers by the media. But I never randomly see any fan posts or comments about the characters, plot of the movies, fan edit videos, etc. It's as if the movie doesn't exist.

I like seeing what other fans are interested in and the Avatar movies don't seem to be one of them, at least online. I'm sure if I go searching for it, I'll probably find something. However, lately I have seen a lot of posts, comments, etc. about some of the following movies: Teen Wolf: The Movie (despite how divisive it has become, my thoughts on this movie later, it's getting plenty of attention online), Glass Onion (the Knives Out sequel), Titanic, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars movies, Woman King, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Top Gun: Maverick, Matilda the Musical, The Lost City, Wakanda Forever, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Black Adam and other DC Comics and Marvel movies, just to name a few.

From a fan perspective, it's kind of surprising that such big box office breaking movies don't seem to spark any inspiration and creativity with fans. Obviously, people are going to see the current Avatar sequel movie but there's no fandom interaction or engagement from it afterwards, which is very interesting.

Quote: Denny, Dr. Karen and Hen Wilson

Denny: Did Mama tell you she's gonna be a firefighter again?

Karen: Oh... Yeah, she did. How do you feel about that?

Denny: I think her uniform's cooler than scrubs.

Hen: I mean, so, clearly, I've made the right decision.

Karen: Hen, are you sure? That was your dream.

Hen: This. This is my dream.

~ Denny, Dr. Karen and Henrietta "Hen" Wilson, 9-1-1 season 6 episode 6: Tomorrow

Tomorrow was such a good episode, it's definitely one of my favorites.

Entertainment News #22: Cancelled DC Comics Shows and Renewed FOX Animated Series

- The cancelled shows list keeps growing and you can now add the two DC Comics shows Titans and Doom Patrol. Both shows were cancelled by HBO Max and will end with the current fourth season. Although both shows recently released the first half of the fourth season, they will return with the last six episodes sometime later this year. I've never watched either show (although I'd plan to watch both but never got around to it), so I don't know how good or bad they are but I have heard mixed reviews for Titans.

- As for renewed shows, FOX has renewed the animated series: The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers for two seasons each. The Simpsons which is known as the longest-running scripted series is renewed the 35th and 36th seasons. Family Guy for the 22nd and 23rd seasons and Bob’s Burgers for seasons 14th and 15th.

Trailer for tonight's episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star: The New Hotness

Who's excited to watch 9-1-1: Lone Star's fourth season premiere? According to the description, it seems like a lot is happening. I'm happy that Tommy Vega may have found a new boyfriend. Because I was not a fan of whatever the Showrunner and writers were trying to do last season with Tommy and her late husband's brother. That just had a bad feeling to it. If they were looking to give her a new love interest, her late husband's brother shouldn't have even been a idea that was thought up at all. Anyway, I'm happy to see where this new romance will go.

As for another romance, Carlos Reyes and T.K. Strand are supposed to get married this season but you never know what will happen and whether it will actually happen. But I'm hoping it will. I'm still not sold on Nancy Gillian and Mateo Chavez in a relationship. They really don't have any chemistry (as far as I can see) but maybe this season the writing will make it at least seem like they do. I'm willing to give their relationship a chance if the writing makes an effort to show that something is really there between them. Instead of feeling foreced like it did last season. Anyway, can't wait to see tonight's episode especially with a freak storm that's has frogs falling from the sky (poor little frogs).

9-1-1: Lone Star season 4 episode 1: The New Hotness                                 8:00 PM EST                                                 FOX

Description:

The 126 is called into action to a county fair when a fast-moving group of severe thunderstorms hits Austin, Texas. Owen's newfound passion for motorcycling puts him on a potentially dangerous path and Tommy meets an attractive single father.

Are you rewatching Teen Wolf before the movie premieres?

I was thinking of rewatching a few of my favorite episodes of Teen Wolf from each season before the movie premieres on Thursday (January 26th). And since the movie seems to be centered around the third season Nogitsune plot, I'll probably rewatch the most episodes from that season. As for the Teen Wolf Movie, I was planning on having a watch party with some friends. Nothing big or fancy, just some snacks and drinks and watching a movie I hope will at least be good.

Side Note, I'm really surprised by this promo/poster because with the way it's framed with the three characters (Derek Hale, Allison Argent and Scott McCall) in the middle shown in descending order. It really makes it seem as if Derek (who is at the top) is the main character instead of Scott who at the bottom. I guess marketing decided to capitalize on Tyler Hoechlin's popularity since he currently plays Clark Kent/Superman on The CW series Superman & Lois.

Quote: Howard Han and Henrietta Wilson

Chimney: Hen. So, uh, you want to tell me how you managed this?

Hen: I think they've been seeing each other for months.

Chimney: Hen, you know what I'm talking about. I never submitted myself for that calendar. But I deleted all those pictures. How'd you get a hold of them?

Hen: I didn't use any of those pictures. Last year, the school bus accident on the 710, an AP photographer got a photo of you carrying a little girl across the freeway. That's what I sent in. Not some picture of you pretending to be a big damn hero, but an actual picture of you being a damn hero. Because that's what you are, Chim. And that's what a hero looks like.

Entertainment News #21: Harley Quinn, Harlem, NCIS: Los Angeles and Cancelled Shows

- The Harley Quinn animated series will have a Valentine's Day special, Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special. It will premiere Thursday, February 9th on HBO Max. I really can't wait to see this.

Description:

As Harley goes to obsessive lengths to ensure that her first Valentine’s Day with Ivy is the best ever, Bane’s efforts to impress an unexpected date go horribly awry. Meanwhile, after an unfortunate online dating encounter, Clayface engages in some self-love.

Monday Motivation: Use Scent to Stay Focused

Is one of your goals this year to be more focused? A way that could help is with the use of scents. Studies have shown that citrus scents can help with focus and concentration. And some ways to incorporate or use citrus scents are:

- Spray on a citrus fragrance or body spray. Something light-weight and airy you can spray when you need a little bit of focus.

- Light a citrus scented candle. Need a little focus while you're at home, light a candle and let the citrus scent keep you focused. Just don't forget to blow out the candle when you're finished.

- Peel and eat an orange for a mid-day snack. The brief hint of orange scent from the snack will help invigorate and regain focus.

- Spray a citrus air freshner. It will refresh the air and the scent will help you stay focused.

- Make your own citrus air freshner. Save all the peels from your oranges, lemons and grapefruits. And when you get a good amount of them, boil them in water and turn the heat down to a simmer. The smell will freshen up the air.

Don't forget to keep an eye on the pot and don't forget to turn off the stove when you're finished. You can store the remaining liquid (that's cooled down) in a jar and place it in the refrigerator. You can reuse it later by simply pouring it back into a pot and reheat it. Or you can make more by saving more peels and repeating the process.

Illustration of the Day: Unfinished Books

Illustration: Unfinished Books by Ellis Rosen

For me the sign on the last bookcase would state "Books You Still Haven't Read Yet". Since I have a lot of those. However, I don't have a problem not finishing a book if I'm not enjoying it or a reader's block makes it impossible to finish reading.

If anyone is interested, this is available to buy from the artist at Society6. To support artists, I try to post links to their stores or accounts if they have one.

Currently Reading: Live and Let Love

It's been a while since I've posted a Currently Reading post, I usually just list what I'm reading in the Currently Reading side panel. But since I'm trying to revitalize my love of reading, I'm going to start posting this again. So for the first book I'm officially reading in 2023 is this romantic spy thriller is Live and Let Love by Gina Robinson.

This is not my usual read but at some point I bought this book because I thought the description seemed interesting. However, this book has apparently been sitting on my shelf for ten years. This is the only book I have from this series. For some reason, I have a tendency to buy books randomly from a series and never in order. Unless I purposely buy books from a series in order. Anyway, I hope this will be a good read.

Fandom Friday: Random Fandom Thoughts #31: 9-1-1's Showrunner

Happy Friday! Hey, how's everyone doing? It is so cold but I'm keeping warm. And since it's Friday, what are some of your fandom thoughts? Well, here is one of mine:

I noticed there's an increasing and growing grumbling among 9-1-1 fans about how the Showrunner Kristen Reidel has been ruining the show. Kristen has been in charge since the fourth season when she was co-Showrunner with Tim Minear (who appears to have left control of the show to her so he can run 9-1-1: Lone Star). As much as I love 9-1-1, the quality has been on a steady decline with her in charge and so far it doesn't seem like the course has been corrected. Hopefully, that will change in the upcoming second half of the sixth season.

You can really tell the difference in how 9-1-1 is being run compared to 9-1-1: Lone Star. Since Tim has been in charge of Lone Star, the storylines and writing have been good, entertaining, exciting and concise. While the writing for 9-1-1 for the most part has been unfortunately uninspiring, lacking creativity and never seem to go anywhere. Or when there are good storylines, sometimes there's no follow through or the stories are simply abandoned.

As much as I've more or less enjoyed the nine episodes of first half of the season, these episodes as a whole have felt mostly like filler episodes with a few key moments sprinkled throughout. You can really tell she doesn't really know what she's doing in running this show and her many interviews continue to shine a spotlight on her inexperience. There were a lot of very questionable decisions being made not only for the characters but the progression of the series. This sixth season has been suffering from not letting the stories have any emotional payoff and main characters don't seem to have that many emotional scenes together.

It feels like as long as the show continues to get good viewer numbers, the network or whoever is in charge of this show doesn't care what Kristen does as the Showrunner. That is until the ratings start to drop. I wish the show had been left in more capable hands because unless she steps down, gets demoted or gets fired, I feel like the show will simply continue with the less than stellar results. It's not hard to see that engagement within the fandom has definitely decreased, which isn't usually the case with popular shows. Hopefully once the show returns from hiatus, fandom interaction and engagement will return but for now, it's sort of running on fumes. It doesn't help that the show has a Showrunner that continously seems to kill the fandom's spirit.

I love this show and want it to continue to succeed. But with such an inexperienced Showrunner it won't improve unless there's a new Showrunner or she at least gets help from a more competent and experienced co-Showrunner.

Trailer: The Mandalorian season 3

I have been waiting for The Mandalorian to return, it's one of the most consistently well-made shows. And I hope the third season which premieres on Wednesday, March 1st will be just as amazing as the first two seasons. I feel like Din is such an underrated main character, he's very self-aware which is a good thing when at times he's not sure what he's doing. I love little Grogu, I'm so happy to see the little baby in the trailer and it looks like that bit of training is helping him better control the Force. I can not wait to see this.

Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. Buck: Starts out small. Uh, she's-she's canceling plans. She's got to work. She needs to wash her hair or do her laundry, and before you know it, poof. Dropping them off at the airport and never seeing them again.

Hen: Okay, Buck, you're being a little too Buck about this.

Eddie: A little? When was the last time a woman told you she had to go home to wash her hair? 1952?

Fashion Meets Fandom: Trini Kwan

Athleisure continues to be a popular style, it's great for working out or just simply as something cozy and comfortable to wear. I wanted to take a 90s take on it for Fashion Meets Fandom with inspiration from Trini Kwan from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 1 episode High Five.

In this episode, not only was Trini at the Angel Grove Youth Center Gym and Juice Bar working out and hanging out with her friends, she was also fighting the villain Rita Repulsa's Putty Patrollers. She did all of that while wearing this outfit which was cute and comfortable and of course in her signature color of yellow.

Hiatus Watch: The Last of Us

Happy Sunday!

Tonight is the night for one of my Must See shows, The Last of Us. I am so looking forward to watching the first episode, I love a good apocalyptic story with action and a bit of horror. I've never played the video games this is based on and looking at the trailer it doesn't look like the show is created just for fans of the game but for a general audience. I really can't wait to watch this.

What's your preferred format of reading?

I love that there are different ways of reading: physical, digital and audio. But my preferred format is physical. I love holding a book and turning the pages. Although, I do have an E-Reader, I enjoy reading digital books occasionally. It's a great way to save on shelf space as well as the convenience of having a lot of books on one device so you don't have to carry around a lot of them. With that said I still really enjoy reading physical books.

Fandom Friday: Random Fandom Thoughts #30: Scooby-Doo, Denny Wilson and Fire Country

Happy Friday the 13th! What are some of your fandom thoughts?

- I haven't watched the first two episodes of Velma yet but I have been rewatching a lot of other Scooby-Doo shows: The Scooby-Doo & Scrappy Doo Show and Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! I think Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! is so underrated. It's another take on the classic series Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? that's fun and zany that I wish stayed on for more than two seasons. I really love this series, it has a good blend of humor, action, adventure, creepy villains all centered around interesting and sometimes zany mysteries. It feels like this series has gotten so overlooked, I really wish more fans would watch it. It's really good.

Happy National Hot Tea Day (and Month)

Today is National Hot Tea Day which is also in the National Hot Tea Month. I'm a tea drinker, I love trying a variety of teas while also still drinking my favorites. And I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to post this video of Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) and her friend and neighbor Elizabeth Warden from Keeping Up Appearances.

Hyacinth is one of my favorite fictional tea drinkers but she's very snooty and a high society wannabe. And poor Elizabeth she's always so nervous whenever she's using one of Hyacinth's tea cups that she either ends up spilling her tea or dropping her cup. And Hyacinth finds neither outcome to be favorable.

What TV ships do you want to see go canon in 2023?

Happy Wednesday TV fans! I was wondering what are some of your TV ships (or relationships) you want to see set sail (or go canon) this year?

My number one pick is firefighters Evan "Buck" Buckley and Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz from 9-1-1. Buck and Eddie have some of the most amazing chemistry and it would be such a waste not to put them together especially with how their connection and bond has continued to grow throughout the series. And neither have had a romantic relationship with even a fraction of the chemistry they have with each other. It would be nice if for once a showrunner recognized the chemistry between two same sex characters that they didn't initially set out to make canon but decided to go with it anyway. And the second half of the sixth season would be the perfect time for them to start to acknowledge their feelings and maybe even go on a date.

Entertainment News #19: Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania trailer, All American and Luther: The Fallen Sun

- Marvel Studios released the latest trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Although this trailer seems like it gives a little too much away, I'm starting to become more interested in seeing it. After the first trailer was released, I said it feels like I'm looking at a Star Wars movie with Marvel characters. And it still does but now I'm more interested in going to see it.

Monday Motivation: Don't put off taking care of yourself

I get it, we're all tired, stressed out and working hard but you can't forget to take care of yourself.

I’ve seen a lot of posts where people are talking about how tired and over worked they are and they tend to leave taking care of themselves or self-care off of their lists. We have got to stop doing that. Taking care of ourselves should be a priority not something we can easily push to the back burner or something we have to "earn".

Leaving self-care as something you "earn" or as a special “treat” is not the best method of taking care of yourself. As I said before, I get it, our lives are busy, so self-care get pushed aside but it should never be something we have to "earn". We don’t have to "earn" care. It's something we deserve no matter how busy our lives are.

Some of the self-care things I do are: my beauty maintenance, getting enough sleep, taking my vitamins, eating as healthy as I can, exercise or stretching my body and drinking water. I also love to relax by drinking a cup of hot tea in the morning and sometimes in the evening. I also like to meditate it gives me a sense of calmness throughout my day.

Whether it’s a five minute walk or a hydrating face mask, it's important to make sure you're taking care of yourself.

Quote: Bobby Nash, May and Athena Grant

(9-1-1 season 6 episode 1: Let the Games Begin)

Bobby: All right, what do you think?

May: That you're a mustache away from giving serious Magnum P.I. vibes.

Bobby: Hey, I'm in full cruise mode here. I got to make sure my resort wear is on par with the competition.

Athena: Why don't you bring both of them? When else would you get a chance to wear those at home?

Bobby: Well, I would, but I already committed to one small roller bag.

May: Well, how many bags are you bringing, Mom?

Athena: More than one.

~ Robert "Bobby" Nash, May and Athena Grant, 9-1-1 season 6 episode 1: Let the Games Begin

I hope at some point Athena and Bobby will be able to go on another cruise since they couldn't go on this one after Athena's father Samuel had a serious medical emergency. And not to mention they ended up solving an old cold case surrounding a missing little girl.

Knowing how overly prepared Bobby was in planning this trip, I'm sure he immediately cancelled the cruise to try to get some of their money back as soon as they had to travel to Miami to check on Athena's parents. Maybe in the future Athena and Bobby will be able to take another trip (or cruise) because they still haven't gone on their honeymoon ever since they got married back in the second season finale episode This Life We Choose.

Agent Carter Fandom Thoughts

Happy Sunday!

I don't know why I've been thinking the Agent Carter TV series but it was such a good show. One of the best that unfortunately never really found an audience and eventually got cancelled. Maybe I'll give it a rewatch.

There is one thing I will never stop saying and that's Avengers: Endgame totally ruined the amazing and wonderfully developing love story between Margaret "Peggy" Carter and Daniel Sousa. All so that Steve Rogers could go back in time just to be with Peggy. And not to mention that Daniel ended up in the future (our present time) on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and ended up in a relationship with Daisy Johnson. Peggy and Daniel should have gotten their happy ending together.

I don't know, this show has just been on my mind lately.

Weekend Films: M3GAN, The Pale Blue Eye and The Wedding Veil: Expectations

It's been awhile since I've posted a Weekend Film. There are three movies that I'm interested in seeing: M3GAN, The Pale Blue Eye and The Wedding Veil: Expectations.

M3GAN is a sci-fi horror movie with an advanced robot that seems to take being a friend and protector too far. The Pale Blue Eye is a horror mystery movie that centers around murders at a military school. And last is The Wedding Veil: Expectations, it's the fourth film in the romantic comedy movie series and this time it seems a new addition may be added to Avery and Peter's family.

These seem like interesting movies and I really want to see them. I'm not sure I can go to the theatre today to see M3GAN but I'm definitely going to watch the other two since they're on Netflix and Hallmark. What movies are you watching this weekend?

M3GAN

Starring: Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Amie Donald, Jenna Davis, Jen Van Epps, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jack Cassidy, Ronny Chieng, Lori Dungey, Stephane Garneau-Monten and more

Director: Gerard Johnstone

Writers: Akela Cooper and James Wan

Entertainment News #18: Renewed and Cancelled Shows and New Actors added to Yellowjackets

- Netflix renews Wednesday for a second season. The executives at the streaming service have cancelled so many shows after the first season and most recently with the show 1899, that it's surprising when you hear about a Netflix show being renewed. Wednesday is an interesting show but there are aspects of the show I hope will be improved for the second season such as not trying to force a romance for Wednesday Addams with two guys she has no chemistry with. Although, Wednesday has more chemistry with Enid Sinclair, I doubt the writers will put the two together.

Photo: Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri

I waited until the hyped died down to watch The Bear and I was pleasantly surprised that the first season was really good. From the writing to the characters and not to mention all the food, I found myself really enjoying watching each episode. I thought Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri were amazing as their characters Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto and Sydney Adamu and I'm looking forward to seeing what's going to happen next in their stories. I really hope that whenever the second season airs, it will be just as good, if not better than the first.

Trailer: Renfield

So far, I think Renfield is the movie I'm most looking forward to seeing this year, it will be in theatres on April 14th. I would not want to work for Dracula and have to do all those terrible jobs for him. And after watching this trailer, I'm already excited to see what will happen in this zany little comedy horror movie.

Renfield

Description:

Evil doesn’t span eternity without a little help.

In this modern monster tale of Dracula’s loyal servant, Renfield, the tortured aide to history’s most narcissistic boss, Dracula. Renfield is forced to procure his master’s prey and do his every bidding, no matter how debased. But now, after centuries of servitude, Renfield is ready to see if there’s a life outside the shadow of The Prince of Darkness. If only he can figure out how to end his codependency.

Book of Interest: The Unhoneymooners

I've been looking for some fun and lighthearted books and I found The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. The description definitely seems like fun and interesting story with Olive and Ethan making use of her twin sister's honeymoon trip since the newlyweds got sick. And since Olive is on a trip with someone she doesn't like, I'm sure all the classic romantic comedy tropes will feature into this story at some point. I'm going to add this to my list, I want to see how Olive and Ethan will end up together.

Book: The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Description:

For two sworn enemies, anything can happen during the Hawaiian trip of a lifetime—maybe even love—in this romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling authors of Roomies.

Olive Torres is used to being the unlucky twin: from inexplicable mishaps to a recent layoff, her life seems to be almost comically jinxed. By contrast, her sister Ami is an eternal champion...she even managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a slew of contests. Unfortunately for Olive, the only thing worse than constant bad luck is having to spend the wedding day with the best man (and her nemesis), Ethan Thomas.

Olive braces herself for wedding hell, determined to put on a brave face, but when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. Suddenly there’s a free honeymoon up for grabs, and Olive will be damned if Ethan gets to enjoy paradise solo.

Agreeing to a temporary truce, the pair head for Maui. After all, ten days of bliss is worth having to assume the role of loving newlyweds, right? But the weird thing is...Olive doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, the more she pretends to be the luckiest woman alive, the more it feels like she might be.

Entertainment News #17: The Flash season 9 and 9-1-1's 5th Anniversary

- There is a lot of good news being released about the upcoming ninth and final season of The CW's The Flash TV series. Including releasing this really amazing poster, I just love the visuals of the Flash's boots and lightning. But it also makes me wonder whose boots are they? Are they really Barry Allens' or someone elses?

As for the news, it's being reported that Keiynan Lonsdale will be reprising his role as Wally West (a.k.a. Kid Flash). Also guest appearing is David Ramsey reprising his role as John Diggle (from Arrow), Sendhil Ramamurthy as Ramsey Rosso (a.k.a. Bloodwork), Andy Mientus as Hartley Rathaway (a.k.a Pied Piper), Max Adler as Jaco Birch (a.k.a The Hotness), Damion Poitier as Keith Kenyon (a.k.a Goldface), Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder (a.k.a Batwoman from Batwoman) and Nicole Maines as Nia Nal (a.k.a. Dreamer from Supergirl which I reported on before in Entertainment News #14).
